The plane of Phyrexia was reduced to a broken husk when Urza's Planeswalker allies devastated it during the Phyrexian Invasionof Dominaria. But this was the end of Phyrexia only as a place not as a force in the Multiverse. Yawgnoth and his minions ensured that Phyrexia would endure by creating an insidious colonization weapon knwon as "the oil".
At the climax of the Phyrexian Invasion, the silver golem Karn realized his destiny as the keystone of the Legacy artifacts. He incorporated Urza's eyes - the Mightstone and Weakstone - into himself, and the Legacy Weapon was activated at last, obliterating Yawgmoth, Phyrexia's leader and god. In that moment Karn become one with the essences of both Urza and Gerrad. He bacme a Planeswalker.
Little later did Karn realize, though, that he carried the Phyrexian oil within him. Long ago Urza gave Karn a Phyrexian heartstone, the source of his sentience, and although Karn's status as a Planeswalker him from the oil, he left traces of it as he traveled through the Multiverse - even on the world of his own creation: Mirrodin.
When Karn was called upon Teferei and his allies to help heal the temporal damage to the Multiverse, he dutifully complied, surrendering his Planeswalker spark to mend the largest temporal rift of all: the one at Tolariam where he was made. And in that instant, the contagion to which he had been immune for so long suddenly took hold of him. Karn's last action as a Planeswalker were to tell his friends not to look for him, and to fling himself through the Blind Eternities to his own plane, quarantining himself.

Artul cu tipa Neurok pe plansa aceea e SUPERBA!!!omg do you think it's Rebecca? :P
Mie mi se pare doar, sau vad piele/carne sub metalul lui Karn?Poate ii doar mazga de Phyrexia si nu merita sa ii dam importanta :P Cat despre Phyrexieni, mie imi plac cu capul lor ciudat, imi aduce aminte mereu de videoclipul ala si felul in care vorbeau, which is way cooler than anything the Mirrans ever did, unfortunately.

Dragonul e scary.

Darksteel as Mirran
As Scars of Mirrodin divides things up, darksteel falls on the Mirran side. I think it's clear that darksteel was around since Mirrodin's first moments, so perhaps the Mirrans have greater claim to it—but then, Phyrexia's been incubating since the beginning, too. But as it has turned out, as the Mirrans fight that civilization of oil-blooded necro-monstrosities that share their plane, they've turned to darksteel to aid in their fight. To date, the Phyrexians have not shown the ability to manipulate or infect darksteel. I mean that ... that would just be wrong.
Luat de pe siteul official. Dar mai vedem ce se intampla. :)
