Don't worry too much about people that say "I don't think you should run that deck.  You're going to lose a lot."

Of course you're going to lose a lot; you're new!  At your first FNM you're going to get your teeth kicked in every game and it will be the best time of your life.  The only way you find out that a card is really good or really sucks is if you play with/against it.  Once someone resolves an Elspeth, Sun's Champion against you, you'll realize why she's worth $19.

If you love building decks, build them.  Deck building is half the fun of the game.

I notice that almost everyone wants the Mercadian Masques Brainstorm and rarely want the Ice Age one.  Do people really like the art or is there something else that makes it more desireable?

Maybe I'm nostalgic about the Ice Age art, but it looks way better to me.

Also, am I correct in assuming that most people want the Ice Age version of Swords to Plowshares because they're black-bordered?

I think she'll find a home in BUG or Bant control.  She curves great from Ashiok or Detention Sphere into Prophet of Kruphix, Vraska or Far / Away.

She's also good to drop after Supreme Verdict and use her +1 on Mutavault.

Hi All,

I made a substantial investment in Dragon's Maze last year...bad move.  In an effort to recoup some of my loss, I'm looking to trade the significant quantity of DRAGON'S MAZE cards I have in my inventory at TCG low for some Theros Cards at regular TCG mid.  I reiterate, DRAGON'S MAZE ONLY for Theros.

If you need playsets of any Dragon's Maze cards, of any rarety, are looking for foils or pieces to complete a set or EDH deck, or just want to unload some draft rares for something (slightly) more useful, check out my inventory.  No offer will be ignored.  I am adding cards each week.  Sorry, I already sold all Rals, Voices and Blood Barons.

I would take the TCG mid value of all of the rares, then cut that value in half and try selling your collection for that.  No one wants to pay $100 for $60 in rares and 10,000 pieces of cardboard.

The idea behind buying bulk collections is to make a profit.  If your buyer can't make at least 25% more than what he paid you in resale, it's not worth it for him.

I am fully aware of how sh*tty Dragon's Maze is and that no one wants anything except those cards.  I've already sold those, luckily I sold Ral Zareks at $20 before he crashed.

I don't need temples, but I figured they're inexpensive enough that someone would be willing to trade one for a playset of Savageborn Hydras or a couple Legions Initiative for casual decks.

Hi there.  I used to play during Revised/Ice Age and quit the game for ~12 years.  I sold everything of really high value.  Now that I'm back into the game, I'm not interested in competitive or collecting Legacy, so if anyone is interested in old frame cards for sets or whatever, feel free to check out my trade list.  I'm in the process of loading my complete collection into deckbox, so everything I have is not yet loaded.  Most of the remaining stuff like Demonic Tutor, Sol Ring are in played to heavily played condition, but I've tried to conservatively grade cards that are not Near Mint.

I repeat, cards like dual lands, Intuition, Maze of Ith, Wasteland, etc. are gone already, sorry.
