Are you attending GP Toronto? Need the final few cards for your deck but aren't sure they'll arrive in time? Well boy do I have a deal for you!

I will be on-site at Grand Prix Toronto on December 8th and if you've got a trade or sale with me, you can pick up your cards ready to go! Since I can't sit and negotiate until I scrub out, this offer applies to deals finalized before-hand only.

(Almost) everything in my tradelist is actually for trade, or for sale at well below the TCGPlayer average. Get those offers in!

I'm trying to start a trade with you but there's no Cavern in your inventory?

Wait don't I live in the same city as you? Which store closed?

LootPinata, can I ask when your trade was initially accepted? I'm just wondering if maybe he trying to resolve in the order they were made. Also, how was this transaction handled?  How did you communicate? I see he hasn't been online here since the 15th. I'm just looking for any info on how to get this resolved. Stuff like this really bothers me. It makes me not want to trade online (even though I really enjoyed this site and had many successful trades).

Thanks for any info.

The trade was accepted on Oct. 14th, but to be honest I contacted him through another forum that we are both members of (one that I suppose he checks more often). I'm not sure what kind of options you have through here, sorry I can't help with more.

How quickly are you hoping to start playing? I have a complete Scapeshift deck and a near complete Naya Pod deck that I can probably mostly ship out after GP Toronto. Otherwise, I could ship out most of the Pod list, check my profile for the full set.

I wanted to update the thread that ichorclaw recently Paypalled me compensation for his cards that never arrived. I can't speak to anyone else's trades, but I hope you all manage to settle things.

I am dead serious about this.

I want to try to make it to the GPT tomorrow at Hairy T North, but I have little to no time today to make it to a store to finish my deck. So here's my offer: If any of you can swing by one of the card stores in the city and pick up the list below, I will comp you for the cards AND give you a few extra bucks for your trouble. The list:

1 Sakura-Tribe Elder
4 Telling Time
1 Electrolyze
2 Search for Tomorrow
1 Steam Vents
2 Aven Mindcensor
1 Izzet Staticaster
1 Sacred Foundry
1 Kataki, War's Wage
2 Sowing Salt

If you can bring this stuff by TODAY (Nov. 17) to the King & Dufferin, I will give you cash for your troubles. E-mail me right away if you can help me out.

I am in contact with ichorclaw on another forum that we are both members of regarding a trade we arranged here, I will keep the thread posted. I have received successful trades from him in the past, so I'm inclined to believe that something's happened that has prevented him from contacting us.

Starting a trade now, I have no problem shipping to Europe.

I've probably got 8-12 of these at home, let me check and I'll make a trade tonight.

Boy oh boy can I hook you up.

Are you selling them with the prices marked on this site?

This site uses the TCGPlayer API, so it'll usually be between the low (green) and medium (blue) price; the prices here are averaged over all sets, so in cases where there is a large difference between printings (such as Unlimited vs. Revised), I use the correct printing.

Just started a trade, I literally have a spare playset of Ascensions lol.

When you say increase value, you really mean ripping people off don't you?

That's pretty much what "trading for value" always means.

The biggest difference between Legacy and other formats is that, instead of people swapping entire decks and regularly rebuilding based on the latest tournament results, most of your competition will have one deck that they have been playing for months or maybe even years. I'd suggest you do the same, i.e. pick a deck that you want to play, build that deck, and then ignore all the rest of the so-called Legacy staples until you get a good enough handle on the format and actually think changing your deck is necessary.

(The exception to this is duals, if you can afford them, as they're only going up and you're almost guaranteed to get back whatever you spend on them if you sell them in the future.)

I believe that's correct about the shocklands, so you should be alright there. I think you'll be better served with a lot more counters and fog effects like Fog, Safe Passage, Divine Deflection, Terrifying Presence, Moonmist, etc. Splashing for green seems reasonable with Evolving Wilds and Temple Garden both in Standard right now. I think Supreme Verdict isn't as good simply because if you have to pull the trigger on it while your Elocutors are out, you'll have to survive another 5 turns.

You don't have anything on your list, but I'm starting a trade with you anyways.

As I've mentioned before, I'm looking for the materials for Modern Naya Pod in preparation for GP Toronto:

1 Arid Mesa
1 Avalanche Riders (Timeshifted)
2 Fire-Lit Thicket
1 Glen Elendra Archmage
4 Grove of the Burnwillows
1 Linvala, Keeper of Silence
1 Murderous Redcap
4 Noble Hierarch
2 Relic of Progenitus
1 Sacred Foundry
1 Stomping Ground
1 Temple Garden
1 Wall of Omens
3 Wall of Roots (Timeshifted)

My wishlist also contains a few other things (INN duals, fetches, etc), but the list above is my top priority. Help hook me up with this stuff so I can get to testing! Everything on my tradelist is available.

(Yes, I am in Canada. Yes, if you want package tracking it may cost more money than you may be used to. But I've gotten through hundreds of trades across the border without needing tracking. I understand that you're nervous about your cards, but you're missing out on a huge opportunity by refusing to trade outside of your own country.)

We've got so much stuff on each other's list I barely know where to start. I'll start up a trade soon.

Everything on this list is still up for sale for between the TCGPlayer median and low:

I do have a small wishlist in preparation for GP Toronto (Modern Naya Pod stuff), if you'd prefer that, feel free to make offers.
