Much to think about, I am teetering on the idea of a U/? deck of some sort as control is always pretty key.

Re: All the cool kids (7 replies, posted in Decks and Deckbuilding)
Lovely, was hoping for an end-all-be-all information source
Oh well.
Thinking of getting heavy back into standard, and maybe shoot for a PT given the prize purse is nice these days, and it seems much more accessible.
Unfortunately my local shop currently only does drafts for FNM so I don't get to see a lot of what is being played regularly.

Is there a master deck list of on-going exofacto standard decks?
In particular, ones being played through the PTs?

Casual play at the moment, not a lot of tournaments today around here that aren't drafts.

Re: Vintage help - Various decks (17 replies, posted in Decks and Deckbuilding)
As much as I'd like to run a Power Artifact, I can't justify it.
The whole cheesefest of Grim Monolith+Power Artifact on turn two is .... yeah.
Got enough cheese in my G/U Squirrel Opposition.
While that deck matures, next concept/target.
Got a page in my binder with;
Sporogenesis
Elvish Farmer
Verdant Force
Forget the rest...

Re: Logins from multiple devices (7 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
Sounds like maybe its not remembering you correctly.
But I can say I don't see the problem when I login with other browsers, PCs, and mobile devices.
Its also very unusual for a Session ID to be yanked by another device, unless someone is exploiting something....
I'd speculate your local cookie is being deleted or the cookie auth_token is expiring too soon maybe.

A feature of this sort would be wonderful.
I would imagine the new tradelist system Sebi is working on may do something similar to this!
Be cool if you could denote parameters for the alerts.
Ex: GeoRange, condition, must want stuff I have, etc.

Re: Haven't played in a long time.....need advice (9 replies, posted in General Discussion)
If you can find a shop that runs Friday Night Magic (FNM) its a good way to see/get cards and free promos.
Drafts are good, as rather than getting ~45 cards (three boosters) randomly, you get 45~ of the colours and types you want.
Fat packs are great for a dice, boosters, and a box.
As stated before the deck builders are very good if you need the lands.

Topic: Vintage help - Various decks (17 replies, posted in Decks and Deckbuilding)
So I have a few pages in my binders filled with cards that are odds and ends and the guts for some deck concepts.
But I haven't played Vintage in awhile and have since forgotten what I want to do with them.
Hoping someone can give me some ideas so I can build some more fun decks.
As I am not at home currently, I know that I have a play set of Goblin Welders floating around.
What does that pair up nicely with these days?

Re: Upcoming features (150 replies, posted in Site Discussion)
Just curious if you were planning on making a streamlined mobile interface or actual phone apps?
And or if you got any API support.
Depending on how far out you are on a 'mobile/app interface' I might hack something together on my own in lieu, OS to the community of course.

Grats, I hope the trades went well!
If I can muster up enough value / find my hidden cache of cards, I am still interested in the taiga.
Unfortunately this seems to be an uphill fight and I am loosing lol.
What condition is the taiga?

Pager is killing me :'(
I have input some rares, looks like the site has found at least 7 cards you're after.
I will continue this week.
(hunting for them without the webby was getting no where fast)

TyWooOneTime
Got stupid busy with me taking pager shift a week or two early, as a favor.
I separated another large stack of rares out of some boxes that I thought where commons.
If all goes well today, I _should_ be able to sift through them today for majority of your current wishlist, to see what I have.

Re: Selling a few higher-end cards (16 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I'll take a look at your lists when I get home.
I am currently in the process of sorting my cards to be input on this site.
I've been playing aprox 13-14 years myself, but don't care for the new stuff.
In particular I do want your Force of Wills, they have gone missing from one of my decks, which was most upsetting.
But during my sorting of commons/uncommons I did find a stack of 100-150 rares including mythics and foils.
Assuming most of the main stuff you are after are on your wishlist, I will scrounge for that, as I doubt I will have everything inputted nicely any time soon on this webby.

Re: Selling a few higher-end cards (16 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Generally selling on eBay or anything that is not "your store" is going to be under cutting the actual value of the cards according to tcgplayer.
If you are trying to get back into MTG and are shooting for high value to pour back into the game, your best bet is to trade them at their value for appropriate value IMO.
Coincidentally if you want to sell or trade, should give me the details I may be interested

Re: Booster packs, how many? (8 replies, posted in General Discussion)
I personally buy a box as soon as the set drops and then participate in drafts as well.
I found that buying a sealed box gives you all the common/uncommon and a huge chunk of the rares.
