I think you've got a good start
toss in a Price of Glory for counter defense. just because it's such an awesome card
running W/R add a Sacred ground to take full advantage

good point to bring up.
besides it being an old thread I made, I don't always keep track of band cards as I should.
I play casual EDH, which the group I play with are lax on Wotc guidelines.  "we're just out to have fun "
So do cross reference my list with wizards ban list.

also, If you even feel the need to step away from standard format with your mono white deck. here's a fun Offensive / Defensive combo to play.

actually my thought would be- add a splash of green to your deck with Sunpetal Grove and add
a few Boundless Realms. this would help boost up your Mana for spells. also note, allot of good ramp cards in green hope this helps.

with four Sunpetal Grove in your deck, you run a pretty good chance of pulling at least one without crippling your dominant White mana pool. also note Boundless Realms only needs one  Green to play. It may be a heavy cost to drop, but figure this- Even if you only have seven mana on board to play it, you're pulling seven more whites onto the battle field.

well hell, if that's the case. there's ten or so boxes of Knight/vs/Dragon sets sitting at the walmart near me

valid point.
I just don't want to kick myself later after cracking the box when I got a great deal on it to begin with.
