He's offered the items for trade or for sale. So to me, it belongs in the forum. If you are willing to get on him for using the word sell, please do so for the people who do so without talking about trading, esp. those looking to trade for MTGO cards (which is selling as well).

dont worry. there will be enough cards and synergy to execute your game plan. It may mean adding an additional color, but B<W<R is not to betaken for granted in gatecrash. just come up with a scheme and dont worry about what the pros do or dont say (ie remember squadron hawk?).

sort of on/off topic. Any reason why using deckbox on Iphone is horrible? it shouldnt be an issue since you stated that you use it on ipod.

Let's keep it civil, folks. My own experience with shipping internationally is that it can often take four or more weeks (six weeks once, US to Canada, and I live in a state right across the border).
ned before, communicate frequently. If out for a series of weeks, place a note in your profile.
I'll suggest to Sebi that we add a status field that will appear on all trade screens, so that all parties may be kept informed without needing to message each one separately.

As for the appearance of being online, who knows im curious to hear the IT answer to this question. one thing i do know is that while overseas I cant access my profile from my smart phone, or from areas in eastern europe for some reason. Is there anyway of researching a root cause?

If it is worth the time to want to talk about fraud, its worth the 10 dollars to send.
One thing I have noticed on this site is that most people will ship out cards under $30 without DC due to it costing enough to not warrant trading on here. Anything over $25 is shipped with DC from me and anything less I just have to hope that both sides are equally honest.
I send with DC#: for anything over $10. The way I look at it, if im buying from my game store or ebay, its gonna cost 1.50-280 in tax. it SO worth it! Even to Canada I spend less than 4 bucks and have a confirmation number.

I couldn't agree more! ESPECIALLY from Canada (which is NOT a short distance). I have been to my post office and they still do not have it more have seen it. Again, as you stated, I am waiting to send once i receive your cards since your rating is at 38(?). You can understand why the cards havent been sent your way...
As for being on line, I just got back into the country dec. 23rd, so no I have NOT been online. I did in fact ask you if there was any tracking information of any kind and you said no you did not send tracking.
Now I know that you are the 4th person who has written something on this forum and I apologize that your cards have not gotten here. but this is (in this situation) NOT my fault, and unfortunately we can not track your items. The only thing to do is wait. and it is possible something happened with customs (which is something to consider).
If you are considering mail fraud, please be sure to read up on international law and use the laws governing Dartmoth Canada. Not that I am advocating this, but since you mentioned this for $15 worth of cards, I want to point you in the right direction so that you can have an easier time filing your claim. Just a note: if in good faith I send you my cards and still do not get it in return based on the terms of agreement (that the lower rating person send first and expect at least 4-6 weeks before filing a claim), shouldn't you be sited for fraud?
I have 0 time for fuckrys on this site and when it comes to trading cards. I understand how MTG is important to people and to steal or mis direct people on line would completely undermine the usefulness and the integrity of Deckbox and sites like this. Before you throw out the term fraud, take the time to understand the entire situation. Again, you are sending from Canada (customs), sending during holiday (fuckrys), without a tracking number. ANYTHING could have happened. It could be on its way back to you... we dont know; theres no tracking.

Im not saying this from an angry place, it is just an unfortunate fact. as a person of a lower rating (which correct me if I am wrong about this, lower ratings send first right?) I have not sent your cards out. That said, I will respectfully send without receiving your cards in order to ensure that the 4 cards you need are received faster than your items have taken to get to me. Hopefully they are stuck in the post somewhere. Did you send with a DC#?
I sent with my DC because I assumed he was trustworthy enough to simul-send without an issue the day after.
I do agree with Tizzy about the issue with communication within this community.

I have a trade active with him, but this is the very reason I make sure DC is active before I send.
I've had two trades now "changed" once my stuff was in the mail. Honest mistakes probably, but I still just assume it'll always happen.
He did tell me in our trade he's super busy over the holidays.
I can understand that you are frustrated about changed/cancelled trades man. That sucks. For the record, I have not cancelled a trade with you. Because of the amount of trades i recieve and the super limited time I know have with my business, being a single parent, and having one of the WORST post offices in the US, thats why Ive made it known to traders that if there is a rush, please cancel the trade because Im just that busy. Thanks for understanding and being receptive (will look over our trade this weekend/holiday).
Any other issues please contact me through direct email as its much easier for me to respond. I applaude iamsolipsism for taking the time to address the board as it does help in open communication with the members and allows dialogue to help reach a resolution. Yes, sometimes life gets in the way of prompt communication and trading - and some people have little respect/consideration for others. After following that whole ichorclaw (or whatever that username was) catastrophe, it has made me aware that scrutiny of one's trading partner's past habits and communication is essential, and inevitably, you're going to get fucked over. Hopefully it'll just be an unreasonable delay like you're experiencing now.
The Ichorclaw thing is why I wrote this originally. I whole heartedly agree the community should strive for higher standards and it starts with ourselves, not the community as a whole. Ichorclaw is probably one of the most glaring instances of someone who wanted to take full advantage of the honor system IMO, and I hope that it serves as a guide to us all.
I just had a situation where i waited 2 months for cards valuing over $200. The trade was completed and it turned out that the post office was to blame on both ends of the trade. Did life happen? Not my call to make, nor was I looking or asking for solace to make myself or my trading partner feel better. The only thing that could be done is to adhere to striving for higher standards and coming up with a mutually beneficial solution. Thats where i find solace.
Oh this is ironic... a thread on trading tips from a guy who's a month late on getting me my cards. I searched for his username on here to see if he was legit or not and now I see that yeah, he's an honest guy. He's just "dealing with life."
Here's another tip: Don't trade with Dakkon if you like getting cards fast. This isn't the first time he's done this to someone.
I sent this thread as a mens to help others and to self police myself. What you failed to mention in your research is that whatever the issue, I followed the user agreement on the site and did what was necessary to complete the trade. Your comment about "doing it to someone" is a bit off base. Ive had cards (including yours) sent back, or not sent at all by my local post and have done everything to make up for it, even resending cards already sent... including yours.
BE ADVISED! If you seriously have an issue with our trade, go about it the correct way and notify the admin (Sabastian is pretty good at conflict resolution) as you are supposed to, not by sniping on a thread that was meant to give insight on how things go wrong and how to go about preventing/solving them. If you want his email, refer to this thread that you have read in full detail or contact me via email or chat.

Emrakul can't be countered, which is why he is so good in Legacy (that and you can get him out other ways)

I think those who dont see the value of Craterhoof is making a big mistake both from a financial and a playing stand point. if anything close to Primeval Titan (or a card it its ramping abilities) comes out in the next 6 sets, you will see him in every Naya, GW and bant deck. he may even see more legacy play over time (elves with a craterhoof finisher anyone? cheeper than emrikul to play). Although i do laugh at those who said this card was terrible and traded them to me for .50 a piece, it does have value and will continue to.

Thanks, Zuul36, for posting that. Yes, for bubble mailers, you want "first class" as the service type, and "parcel/thick envelope" for the package type. Three ounces is the magic number--the rate does not go up until you are over 3 ounces. I typically can ship around 15-20 cards and stay under three ounces, and that includes the additional cardboard I add to keep the package more rigid.
