This not a how issues like should be brought up. Joecat, you should have notified us first before going publicly denouncing another user.

I'm saying that there is or isn't nay truth to any claims made but this not the place nor the method that should used to have it resolved

If there are any issues, they should be posted as BTRs not as random posts in the trade forums.

Bob has slowly gone up over time. I think he was prolly around 10ish. I didnt play around then som Im not sure but when I did start playing he was only around 40ish. I think it wasnt until his time in extended did people really notice his power that it became more of a staple.

Goyf is prolly a better example of what your thinking about. Ive heard that at the time of the release of Futuresight, Goyf was a bulk rare. I think it preordered for 2-3 dollars at most and pretty much held there because people thought it took too much work make it worth playing.

I started playing right around the end of Worldwake into Rise of the Eldrazi. At the time most of the Eldrazi gods were pretty cheap (5-10 bucks) because they weren't good in standard and aside from Emrkul seeming a little play in legacy, they weren't wanted much cause EDH was fairly new format.

One of my more proud moments looking back was trading in my highly regarded Baneslayer Angel, Ajani Goldmane and 5 dollars for a Jace, the Mindsculptor into my store.

Also, I use mtgstocks.com a lot cause it's fun to see a graph of how prices of cards have changed.

Wow, that just makes me want to build a time machine to go back and buy a 5 dollar Eldrazi

Let me know when you get the Machine working. I would glady go back and smack the yugioh and Pokemon cards out of younger me's hands and tell me to get into Magic.

Tokens remain on the battle field until they are killed via damage or actual removal. There are a few cards that make tokens that you have to sacrifice at the end of turn bu the majority of tokens remain the battlefield until they get removed some how.

Something to keep in mind tho, is that Tokens do actually go the graveyard when they die. They dont stay in there (if the chance would arise to return them to your hand). This is an important aspect as there are cards that say "when a creature goes to the graveyard" (also known as "dies" now) tokens "dying" will trigger an effect to happen.

And Mental Misstep was axed because it gave "free" Counterpellls to non-blue decks and nerfed to many early turn plays. If it was too powerful for Legacy, then it def needed to be banned in Modern.

All seem weird, why do they hate consistency so much?

Bloodbraid and Deathrite got the axe because they made Jund too powerful and Jund was the strongest archtype right from the inception of modern.

Dread Return and Golgari Grave Troll were banned to effectively remove Dredge from Modern.

Ponder, Preordain and Ancestral were banned because it made Storm more consistant and basically sped up how fast the deck could go off.

Glimpse of Nature I dont remember the reasoning behind this, but watching Legacy Elves go off from this, I can understand why.

Punishing Fire basically made it impossible to use aggro decks since any creature with 2 toughness couldnt exist on the battlefield because it Punishing Fire's interation with Grove of the Burnwillows.

Sensei's Divining Top was banned namely because of the time delay it puts in matches. Yes Counterbalance is a reason too but it was basically banned for the same reason it was banned in standard because everydeck ran it and matches were constantly taking too long since there was too much use of top to look at the top of your deck before you draw, after you draw, after you shuffle, and in response to spells.

Yes I think that might be why. Since I have multiple offers that the heath(s) are included in but are cancelled before being accepted, they are re added to my trade list and inventory. I curently only own 3 heaths (1 foil, 2 non foil) and I adjust the amount but if I cancel a trade that has a Heath included, it re adds 2 of them back to my trade list and adds 2 more to my inventory count.

Something else I noticed, that it keeps readding cards to my trade list that I take off it. Ie. I've had to keep removing the windswept heaths in my trade list and inventory even after I change them.

This will probably resolve itself pretty quickly as people cancel/complete trades, but I found out that if I canceled a trade that was proposed before this change was implemented, it added duplicates of the cards from my side of the trade into my inventory. Luckily they were small trades and I caught it quickly ("Wait a sec, I don't own two Polluted Deltas...").

I just noticed this myself. It actually added some cards to the wishlist too for trades that were already completed.

Although I will say, this is Top Most Welcomed Updates to the site Sebi. Thank you.

I have a foil Sword of Light and Shadow from Darksteel if your interested.

I have 2 Sidsi and a Murder cut or 2. Is your list updated?

I could be interested in the Bloodstained Mire.

I would agree 65-60 would be a reasonable number.

I would grade it as SP from that picture. The overall physical condition of the card itself would be no worse than that.  I do not think that in that condition with the marks it would drastically affect value by more than a couple dollars. However thats my opinion based on personal preference.

Hey guys I am new to all this, and just want to make sure I have shipping sorted. the guides are great, for a few cards. but I question how to ship  30-50 cards?

Thanks for any assistance you can give, sorry if its been already answered or I just didn't get it.
I just want to make sure I am doing the best ship I can for my first trades smile dont want to overload a bubble mailer or anything.

A bubble mailer should be just fine for 30-50 cards. I would just put the cards in a plastic baggie taped shut around them and then tape them between 2 toploaders. Just make sure you go to the PO so they can give you the right postage for the weight otherwise its going to either going to get set back to you with insufficent postage OR actually sent to the other person and then they would need to pay the postage.

Another option would be to just send in a 500 count box as a package. Either way works.

Call Customer service. Its not MUCH better than just using the website but it helps when you get an actual response from a person.

Per Rule 2.1 here, trades are finalized once addresses are confirmed. In addition, had both addresses been confirmed you would still be covered by a clause of Rule 2.1 seen here

However, trades are considered invalid if: 2) one or more parties have not attempted to make contact within a week of confirmation.

As only your address has been confirmed and the other member has not made any contact in over a week feel free to cancel this trade without fear of negative feedback. smile

Seconded. Thanks Kammikaze smile

What are you valuing the Deltas and the Mires at?

UPDATE from Sebi- See (https://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php … 904#p94904)

If the repacks being sold here are not sold via the marketplace system then that is not allowed via Deckbox rules linked in the previous post. Sorry for the confusion.

That is bug that I will need to notify sebi about. I was unaware that this is the case since I cannot actually view my profile unless I'm logged out (which I rarely am). That being said, if serpentcat is not a certified store as I thought he was and was not using this system then you are correct. I'm closing this thread until this get a resolved.

He is listed as a certified store on his profile and he posted in the marketplace.

Edited posts.

The point has been heard. It's a person choice to choose if they wish to take a chance on these repacks. Further posts not related to actually purchasing them or updating the OP will be deleted.
