I think we should have a vote for Pauper - Star format whether a card that was printed as a common should be allowed or not so long as the edition being used is the edition it was a common.

i'm interested in the promo stroke of genius.  am able to purchase or trade.

I don't find GenericCola's post being a dick/rude nor do I believe his post warrants the response.  Maxmackie had a noble response rebuffing GenericCola.  Different rules, different styles - different strokes for different folks.  I looked at his trade/wishlist.

I have shocks to part with.  Do you have promo foils or foils not listed on your tradelist/inventory by chance?

Just to clarify as some informed me that the History draft was on a Saturday.  The draft is on a Sunday.  Deckbox has their calendar in the events page go from Monday to Sunday.  Reading is FUNdamental!

Many of my valuables have been mailed out, though I still have plenty of uncommons and commons in addition to what is left in my inventory.  Feel free to set up a trade or reply here and we can discuss.  Thanks!

I already did that but you've not responded.

Is playing Magic becoming monotonous, lackluster?  Is your interest in what started as a game for fun waning?  Has drafting in big tournaments become draining or seem more like a chore than a hobby for fun?  Well come visit the Game Gamut on 2nd of February at Noon to put the creativity, enjoyment and FUN back in Magic.  Certain to not revolutionize Magic, a History Draft will bring you back to your roots when you first began playing, when Magic was new, exciting, creative, and above all you were happy to just be playing.  A History draft is something different where combo's/strategy can never be predicted.  It brings that 'unknown' element back.

So if you're looking for something different, a new variant of magic drafting, then try a History Draft.  Picture Vintage/Legacy but in draft format.  The possibility of combination of cards are endless.  The format has a much larger random element than regular drafting.  From feedback given by players ranging from near-pro to novice this format is much more fun than a typical draft.  While drafting a certain bloc can get boiled down into a science.  A History draft breaks science apart.  "Combinations are endless, there's over 20 years of possibilities."  That's over 20 bloc's, over 100 possible sets, about 14,000 unique cards, and 138 keywords.  Best of all "it's just so much fun!"

Were you late in the game and missed out on Banding, Morph, Affinity, Flanking, Urza block, threshold, even buyback cards?  Now they are all present in a single format.  How do they interact?  What new synergies can you find to exploit?

The Game Gamut, a local store in Victor NY, is hosting a History Draft on Sunday the 2nd.  The draft (located on the event calendar) is during Pre-release Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday but earlier in the day than the Super Bowl.  The draft is from 12 sharp until 3:30ish and only costs $6 (cash only), less than half what a regular draft costs.

I have created repacks utilizing my entire collection, foils included.  As some have expressed interest in drafting them and the holidays very close by, when are times that people may be available?  If you know people that are not on deckbox that are interested please tell them about this and when they might be interested.

I thought about doing the same thing!

I don't know why but I really like old basic lands. Pretty much anything from before mirrodin. If you got them let me know. I want all of them!

Off the top of my head I believe I have ~400 old foil basic lands.  How many are you interested in?

I no longer have a widget, or box, that lists potential trading opportunities despite having cards in my wishlist, inventory, and trading section.  How do I get that box back on my front page that lists potential trading partners?

I will be visiting Toronto on the 17th, 18th, and 19th of this month.  I haven't yet decided if i'm staying at the Drake Hotel near Queen st. W and Ossington Ave or in/near the Church and Wellesley district.  Where are some good Magic shops where I can play tournaments or just casual games on those days?

Additionally if anyone wishes to start a trade with me and trade in person I can bring the cards with me across the border.
