it's ... a process for me.

I started by doing just the trade binder over a few hours, then went through and added money uncommons/commons over a few weekends.  I then said screw it and added everything.  I add newly-ordered cards as soon as I place the order, and update for local trades as soon as I get home that night.

The inventory is up to almost 32k cards, though I need to go through and weed out a bunch of the cheap and no-demand cards sometime soon.

Which Vanguard cards?  I am missing a Titania.

From wikipedia, for people like me who had no idea what this was:

Alternate Fourth Edition

Wizards has used Cartamundi as their card printer since Alpha.[citation needed] For some undocumented reason, during the production of 4th Edition, the company experimented with using other vendors. Some cards were printed by the United States Playing Card Corporation, and had a thicker stock along with a glossy overcoat on the back. While these cards were not intended to be released, some starter packs were leaked out into public circulation. The cards do not glow under blacklight, unlike normal cards, and did not have the normal dot design on the back.

Sounds like it's super-rare is why it's so much more.

My Rhys deck (http://deckbox.org/sets/244137) can get out of hand quickly because you can double the number of tokens you have every turn.  Craterhoof can be a BEAST if you have 10-15 tokens, let alone more.

I watched a guy Rafiq his way to victory as well, if you can get him with an eldrazi conscription you will be one-shotting people.  Toss in a Finest Hour and you are killing 2 opposing players every turn.

Wow, seems like it was added in today (with the Red Highlight, nice touch!)

Thank you again Sebi (and the rest of the deckbox staff!), it's stuff like this that keeps my adblock off and me on this site over any other MTG trading site.

Just 5 minutes ago actually. cool

Is there a way to make this a toggle-able option?  Since most of my wishlist is foil-only I found it VERY useful to only see cards marked as foil in the person's tradelist, not hundreds of cards in red that I don't want.

Great that you guys are so responsive!

are things from you inventory for trade??

Nope, so I'm guessing that's a no.

I'm interested if you see anything on my tradelist.

ok 10 $ for the whole lot .

Man, there's lowballing and then there's ... this.

Interested in

- Loyal Retainers
- Sylvan Library
- Chaos Warp
- The Mimeoplasm
- Vela, the Night-Clad
Oversized Mayael & Sliver Queen

Once we both hit accept, a trade goes to the Completed zone.  It'll show me what the other person said about me, but I don't see any reminder that "hey, you haven't left feedback for this one yet".  There used to be an icon for that, can we get some sort of indication (color, icon, column, etc.) to remind me and others which ones still need our attention?

What do you think about an inherent, or flat, multiplier added to the base value of a card if it's marked Foil? Go on the low-side and just use Base Value * 110% or something?

Unfortunately, I think such an equation breaks down on the two ends of the value scale.  Most penny cards are worth between 25 and 50 cents in foil.  On the high end (e.g., some planeswalkers), the foil values are much higher than the standard versions (e.e., Lilian of the Veil at $25 and the foil at $60).

Man, I wish it was that easy.  Some of the old stuff is just crazy, like an MM brainstorm (foil common is $100).  Even in a new set, cloudshift regular is 15c and foil is more like 1.75.  It sucks when I'm doing all these bulk trades, you really do have to check every single one because you never know what will be sneaky-expensive.

I'm having this problem, too.  The address I confirm has all the carriage returns, but the address that gets posted to the screen has them all stripped out.  Definitely a regression there.

Fixed now, thanks!

This topic maybe warrants more discussion.

Someone brought up the issue that sometimes they do not care which of the cards they trade. So in your Sejiri Refuge case, you'd like to trade 5 of them, and you do not really care which ones.

The current implementation does not allow that, as you have to mark specifically which ones you wish to trade.

What do you guys think about this? Anyone else preferring the old system?

I am one of those that doesn't really care about which edition I trade away, since I didn't put in the effort to exactly inventory.  It seems easy enough for me to just leave the edition field for the tradelist blank and only populate it for important $$ distinction (IE Legends vs. Chronicles).

Basically, I like the new way.  I agree it can be annoying to say that I want 2 VVK and 3 ZEN as opposed to just 5 total though.

I've noticed that it does that as well, but in my case it's good.  If I have the card on my wishlist flagged as foil, it will only show it to me if the one on their tradelist is foil.

You might want to check what attributes are set on your wishlist (condition, language, etc) because I think it will only show the match if those extended attributes match.

Thanks a lot guys for your feedback. It really helps a lot!

We are still monitoring feedback for the Add Widget, which - I agree - could be made a bit more intuitive. Still thinking about what improvements to make there.

Also it looks like a lot of people were fans of the sortable count columns, so we will try to bring them back.
...

One thing I just noticed: The add widget gives a bunch of options for default values, but the foil/promo/autographed/etc field is not one of them.  I would want to add a whole pile of foils to my wantlist, can this field be added?

Also, count me one of the sortable column fans!

Hi again - I just found that I can't post messages in the trade chat for an open trade.  When I type a message and press enter or click "Send Message," it takes me back to my profile page.
Thanks again for working so hard on this stuff!

Same issue for me.  I can't verify my address either.

One thing for people sending mail worldwide:  It looks like the address is saved as one long text string, and removes all of the line breaks.  That's fine for the US where we know what addresses look like.  However, if I am sending stuff to Europe or the middle east or somewhere, an address can be multiple lines and I have no idea how to write it out.  Please track the newline characters again!

Firefox used to save my password and allow me to easily log in, now with the way the login is set up it won't work.  Is that little window that pops up on an SSL connection or something?

I am loving the ability to click on a card and see what trades that card is involved with, but it's somewhat hidden in there.

I don't know the facts behind either of your trades, but I have a personal experience to toss in:

The USPS lost a tax return I filed once, if they can lose something like that I am sure they can lose some cards.  I have always looked at it that it's the sender's responsibility to prove that they sent it.  If it's from the US and hasn't arrived in say 2 weeks, I expect either a replacement in the mail or the original tracking number and proof that they've talked to USPS to trace it.  Cross-border is another can of worms as well, even just from Canada.

ooh, foil bonfire..  Too bad I probably don't have anything you want for it.

I've probably got most of what you want.  Have anything foiled for trade?

I think it's funny considering that he posted this thread a while ago:

http://deckbox.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4854

I am interested as well..  I have a non-foil that I could trade back to you if you wanted.

I am interested, not sure if I have anything you want on my tradelist though. It looked like most of what you wanted was legacy or modern.

It might be better to have a manual override for color, and perhaps format as well. Maybe with a warning icon on the deck page to let you know just in case you do change colors and forget to set them back.

I like this option personally.  It seems like this could add in a whole new option of searching in the future as well.  You could see what people have flagged as a standard G/W deck or a commander R/U/G deck, even if that commander deck currently has 101 cards so Deckbox thinks it's just a funky legacy deck.

I'm interested in that foil armada wurm.
