Yep, the little signed flag has slipped under our radar until now smile

It's now showing correctly, thanks for reporting.

I e-mailed a video of the problem.  It occurs for me in internet explorer as well as firefox, and it happens even when i try to go really slow.

Thank you very much, it was of great help! It's fixed now, let us know if you see any other weird stuff happening.

In your Wishlist it does not allow you to update Wishlist quantity in the columns.  Your required to click and update through the popup.  The other two columns work fine.

I was not aware of this issue until now, I never tried to reproduce specifically the wishlist count.

It is now fixed though, thanks for clarifying.

When did these start? When someone replied to a post, i get an email. Is there a way to disable this?

Sorry for that, the default forum setting for auto subscribe has changed this week to "on". This means whenever you make a post the checkbox under it representing subscription is set to on.

If you do not want to subscribe by default when you create a new post please click on the top menu in the forum on Profile, then Settings, and set "Subscribe to topics by default when posting" to off, as NullParameter mentions above.

We'll mention this in announcements too, so people know where to turn it off. (We'll be importing Gatecrash soon, so we'll announce everything at the same time in a few hours time).

Thanks for reporting, looking into this, there seem to be some small issues with the foil filtering.

I know this post is late, but I agree 100% with both points made by roseblood71. I know you guys are trying to encourage people to list more details about their cards (edition, condition, country) but this is not the way to do it. Updating card quantities has become a chore.

We have made the columns smaller in height this week. Do you guys still feel they are too tall? There's just 4px vertical padding now.

On the second topic, where are you trying to update card quantities? If you are in your inventory, you can edit your inventory / tradelist counts directly, there is no panel. If you are in your wishlist you can edit your wishlist directly too. Are you managing your collection generally from the card database page?

Hi,

I have an issue with the export:
I have 2xRith, the Awakener, one from From the Vault: Dragons and one from Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. the Coalition.

When it is displayed, it's show me different prices, base of the set they are on, but when it is exported it is exported with only one price, look randomly.

Many thanks,
A

P.S. I'm still looking to have back the sort base of number of card I own.

I see correct prices when exporting your inventory to CSV:

1,0,"Rith, the Awakener",,,,,Duel Decks: Phyrexia vs. the Coalition,Near Mint,English,$0.99,$1.58,$3.00
1,0,"Rith, the Awakener",foil,,,,From the Vault: Dragons,Near Mint,English,$7.01,$8.32,$8.99

The sort options will come back, we have not forgotten smile. It's not trivial though, so it will come with release 2.1, along with the trading opportunities revamp. Currently we're aiming for a release date around 1st of february.

Interesting. The rules text we got from gatherer, back when we initially imported the db, in 2008. I did not know they change card rules text over time.... I thought changes are made in the rulings section only.

Does this happen for many cards?

Looks like there's a problem importing prices for the cards in Knights vs Dragons Duel Deck. thanks for reporting, will fix for tomorrow.

Wow, seems like it was added in today (with the Red Highlight, nice touch!)

Thank you again Sebi (and the rest of the deckbox staff!), it's stuff like this that keeps my adblock off and me on this site over any other MTG trading site.

Just 5 minutes ago actually. cool

Coming later this month.

@corvair64 - no, we were talking about the card intersection you see when you visit a user's profile.

The section on the card page is being completely rewritten as a separate Find Trades page, with filters for users, cards and other cool stuff cool

No worries. The feature's on the list of things to be done, just not at the very top. So... soon (TM) big_smile

Thank you for the info.

We did want to incentivize people to be specific with the editions of their tradelist cards, since it makes for much smoother and clearer trading. But your points make sense and the situations described are indeed unfortunate for people with less details specified.

I think we will add these "non matching" rows to that listing as well, maybe highlighted somehow to point out they do not precisely match but may be useful. How does that sound?

Preppy wrote:

smile  The new software version indeed apparently does not check for "more than 4 of" in a deck.  The *old* software did, which is why I mentioned this particular discrepancy.

Nope, we never had any smart checks for validity. We only check the number of cards and the fact that the cards are legal in that specific format.

Just for proof, I've taken a screenshot of a new deck I made using the old version tongue

Actinide, can you exemplify what issues you have found with the user intersection?

Fropper wrote:

Thank you!
Any info whether Rennaissance and the other missing editions will be added?

We didn't have them because gatherer does not list them. We need to build an importer for magiccards.info for these sets. It's high prio now, so it will come in the next 2-3 of weeks, along with the trading opportunities rewrite.

madoli wrote:

This was actually an issue that existed prior to the updates:  When doing a trade, I have found that putting a zero in the count next to a card will often cause a different card to be removed from the trade.  When this happens, I have to refresh the page before it will work normally again.  Just a minute ago, I had to refresh after every card I removed.  That wasn't really well-written, so let me know if you need clarification.  Thanks!

Are you still experiencing this issue? I've tried to reproduce it and I don't seem to be able to. Can you please make a screenshot of the trade when it happens, before and after the page refresh, so I can take a look at what exactly happens? It would help us greatly in finding the issue!

Bug: When viewing "show value" on my tradelist, nothing shows up. (it works in inventory and wishlist though).

This is fixed now, thanks for reporting.

rfioren wrote:

Change/feature request: In the trade window, when editing a trade, the default is now alphabetical. While this may be slightly useful for people who organize their cards only alphabetically (which is probably not many; most at least organize by color and alphabetical) -- it makes it really hard to see how trades have changed. For example. I just had a large trade with someone almost finalized. I asked them to add another card or two, and they did, but I can't see what they added. So I had to go through the stack of cards I had set aside to figure out what was added to the list. I prefer the older default, when the most recent changes were at the top. Or at least the option of sorting between the two, or seeing the most recent changes.

This is also fixed now. Cards in a trade are listed in the order you added them to the trade, most recently modified one at the top.

rfioren wrote:

Question/request When, if ever, can we expect foil pricing? I realize promo and foreign language pricing, as well as condition-based pricing, is probably hard to implement, but any chance of getting foil pricing in the near future?

Sadly we cannot fetch this information from tcgplayer, their API does not support it. So the answer would be that in the next few months definitely not. But we'll be looking at other price sources too, so it might be possible in the future. We'll keep you posted.

Thanks for reporting this.

Wax // Wane is now accessible again.

psrex wrote:

Do you have any idea of the normal number of cards for a collection that is working properly?

For now I'll delete my collection and then just add back in cards that are in decks or in my trade binder.

Please do not delete you collection, this is definitely our fault, all features have to work for all our users, with inventories big or small smile

We fixed some performance problems now, the export to csv should work again faster. It will still take 10-20 seconds for very large inventories, but it does finish successfully, so the iOS apps should work for you again.

Let us know if you encounter other problems.

We've investigated some reported cases of post-release issues with tradelist counts, and the confusion lies with the following scenario:

A user could have had 4 Arid mesa in his inventory, with details on all 4 and marked all of them in the details panel as For Trade. Initially the tradelist count would be 4 for them, so all was ok.

If later the user changed the 4 tradelist count to 0, they would stop showing in his tradelist, but in the details panel, all 4 of them would still be marked as tradeable unless you manually unchecked them too. (This of course was a problem / bug with the old system)

https://photos-5.dropbox.com/t/0/AAD7xcfcXu8RrKDJNHTY-sekT-VIWFt8QkKoZ6mrzSDqbA/10/378635/png/2048x1536/2/1358082000/0/2/Screen%20Shot%202013-01-13%20at%2012.21.25%20PM.png/f9RdK-uiAl7lWQc3wD9entMnF-x_mxp17ChYq0Rn-iI

When we migrated to the new release, in these conflicting cases we gave priority to what users have specified in the details panel. So if you had the 4 zendikar fetches marked as for trade in the details panel, now you have a 4 in the trade count.

Hopefully that explanation makes sense. The conclusion is that these cases were already conflicting and inconsistent, but the user did not see that though a bug in the old system. We could not ignore what the user set in the details panel either, for technical reasons we cannot go into in such a short post as this big_smile.

We have reason to believe these situations were very rare though, so not many people should be affected by this. Sorry for the inconveniences caused.

Some weirdness was going on before today's price sync. Should be fine now for all cards.

Trice wrote:

When adding a card it creates a new line (even if it has teh same qualities as previous versions) and requires you to click Apply each time, when previously you could just press enter and start the next one.

This new system takes much longer and is very unintuitive

You do not have to click apply. Once you selected the card from the autocompleter, it is already added. The line is displayed separately so that you see it has been added. But then in your inventory they will show grouped.

We're sorry if that feels unintuitive, we'll think on how to make that clearer.
