Just a small issue...Lim-Dûl's Paladin shows only a card back when hovered over or when looking it up in the card database.

Kudos Sebi for adding the Archenemy Promo Schemes!! {tips hat} smile

Sebi,
Can you look into adding these Promo Scheme cards to the Deckbox system when you get a chance?
Thanks!

The promos are:
Plots That Span Centuries
Drench the Soil in Their Blood
Your Inescapable Doom
Perhaps You've Met My Cohort
Imprison This Insolent Wretch.

I'm looking to trade for the Promo Scheme cards from Archenemy. For some reason these are not listed on Deckbox. The promos are: Plots That Span Centuries, Drench the Soil in Their Blood, Your Inescapable Doom, Perhaps You've Met My Cohort, and Imprison This Insolent Wretch. If anyone has them, please let me know.
Also, if Sebi or any of the DB team could add these to the site, it would be great. Thanks.

I emailed the necessary info to support, but have not heard back. Now I'm not receiving the "activate your account" email. So I am completely unable to login now. Someone please help!

Finally did get the "activate your account" email, but I'm still having to deal with this login problem. Is there anyone who can offer a solution?

Thanks for the quick responses Sebi & Kammikaze. I use three different devices to access Deckbox and it happens on all three. I use my laptop at home (runs Windows 7), I use my desktop PC at work (also runs Windows 7) and I use my Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone. The problem seems to have begun around time of the Marketplace/Pricing changes. I'm not saying that caused my problem because apparently no one else is experiencing this quirk. But here are three things that happened differently around that time period.
1. The Marketplace/Pricing change was implemented.
2. I temporarily put my trading on vacation mode until pricing could become more stabilized. I did have some problems when I deactivated vacation mode, such as login telling me I needed to reactivate (or reset) my account.
3. I activated the AutocardAnywhere app on my Google Chrome, which I have since removed.
Anyway, I'm sending support my username and email to see if you can help me further.

Thanks again,
Lou

Can Sebi or anyone help me with this annoying login problem?

Within the last few weeks, I've begun having issues when I attempt to login. I type in my username and password and get this error message: "Username or password is incorrect or you have not activated your account." So I have to click on the activate your account button, which tells me to enter my email. I then get sent an email saying "Deckbox account registration.
Hello Lou Harland,
Thanks for signing up with Deckbox!
Please click the following link to activate your account: (Link)."
Once I click on the attached link, a new window opens and I'm logged in to my DB account.

Why has this started happening and can someone please tell me how to get back to simply logging in like I could do before all the changes began taking place on the site (pricing, Marketplace, etc.)

Thank you.

I hope this is not a stupid request, but is there a way to add EMBLEM cards to this list? What about tokens? I know, this probably isn't important to most people, but since you're making the card lists "complete" you may as well add them in. Just a thought.

To start, I want to thank the Deckbox team for their development efforts. I work for a large software company out of the US, and understand and can relate to the immediate overreaction that most consumers have, regardless of how misguided, when hiccups occur.  The key point, whether anyone wants to admit it or not, is that the Deckbox team is providing us a free service, with an excellent ability to catalog, create, and peruse random deck ideas we create in our heads easily.  More so, they have not abandoned the site.  Most people/small person teams would give up after being legally "hammered" by a company like TCG, but they didn't.  They are continuing to work, and we, as their end users, should have a little faith in them.

We all at some point need to realize that a team of 3 members are going to have other responsibilities outside of developing a FREE site for all of the users to enjoy.  They do have bills, personal obligations, etc., that require attention, and I for one am in favor of giving them the time and breathing room to create a stable pricing solution.  They are correct, the Google ads would in no way provide a suitable income that could cover and justify the endless hours it must take to manage this site. Possibly having another job, plus spending hours to manage this site and STILL manage to live an enjoyable lifestyle? People are blind if they think that's possible for free.  If we take a look at whats been developed so far, and the ease of use, i think we should all look forward to the next iteration the team will provide! Perhaps they will bring an App developer online to provide us with a mobile based solution!

Congrats to the Deckbox team for what you have developed so far, and I for one, look forward to the changes and evolution to come!

Without a doubt, the best comment on this post!! It opened my eyes to the amount of work and effort put forth by our Deckbox team. Thank you shealy06 for saying this and above all, THANK YOU SEBI & CO. FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!! I will continue to support Deckbox in whatever way they see fit to keep this site running.

Sincerely,
Lou Harland

Is this because you guys explicitly added a market/sales functionality? If so... Get rid of it. I feel like your primary user base is traders not sellers (though I could be wrong). Maybe you should do some research or poll your active user base. I've sold stuff here occasionally, but I'd rather have TCG pricing integrated rather than a specific sales function.

I totally agree with buughost. If the problem stems from you adding a market/sales functionality, get rid of it! I, for one, only use Deckbox to catalog and trade cards. I would much rather have a reliable pricing structure than a silly sales function. I can sell my cards anywhere (LGS, eBay, Amazon, online card stores, etc). Deckbox is too valuable a website to me (and others) to see it become a casualty over an unnecessary function.

I have a pack fresh Minty Foil Temple of Enlightenment that I'm willing to swap for a non-foil Temple of Enlightenment and a few cards to boot. If interested, please start a trade and I'll browse your tradelist.

Hello Central MTG gang! My name is Lou and I wanna say thanks for accepting my request to join your community. Although I live approximately 180 miles east of the Mississippi River, I'm glad I could be included. When I read that this is a group of players mostly comprised of "Heartland" podunkers, I knew I fit the description. I live in a small town (Pop. 3000) in Southern Illinois and have only a small group of buddies that play Magic. When it comes to Pre-release tournaments and such, I usually travel to the St. Louis area to play. Otherwise, I host a monthly gathering at my house with anywhere from 6-15 people playing.
I've played and collected Magic cards since 1995 and have roughly a 100,000 card collection. I like to trade and discuss Magic. So again, thanks for welcoming me to the group. Hopefully we can do some trading and I can contribute in some interesting conversations.

Ciao for now!

Looking for someone willing to trade two Show and Tells for two Wastelands. If interested, please start a trade and I'll respond. Thanks!

I am having a problem with the Trading Opportunities section. When I click on the 'next' button, the list goes blank and the 'loading' icon continues to spin, but the next page fails to load. I can't go past the first page on the list of names.
Also, I have 71 pages of 'opportunities' for trades. I rarely have time to browse through very many in one sitting. However, when I come back to Deckbox, I have to click the 'next' button multiple times to return to my previous spot in the list. Is there any way to add a 'jump to XX page' button? This would be tremendously helpful.
It would also be helpful to have a way to delete traders from your list when it is obvious that they have nothing you need. I constantly see the same names at the top of my list and must weed through them each time when I know they don't have anything I need.
Thanks for listening and for all you do to provide this excellent card management & trade site!!

I have a Thoughtseize I'd be willing to trade for your Elspeth, Sun's Champion.

I'm not looking for forum instructions (thanks anyway, merged!). I do have these cards posted in my wishlist, however as a favor to a new player, I simply posted this request as an additional way to attract attention and possibly get some folks to help me help my friend.
Ultilink, thanks for the laugh! I know some of these cards aren't worth a lot, but since my friend is new, he's wanting to build his decks on his own. I don't judge his deckbuilding ideas, I just help him find the cards he wants.

I have a friend just beginning to play Magic. He's building his first few decks and is looking for the following cards. I told him I would help him locate them and get a good price on them. Who can help me with this list and a good price? Thanks in advance.

2 Epic Experiment
1 Mercurial Chemister
1 Melek, Izzet Paragon
3 Ral Zarek
1 Cloven Casting
1 Jhoira of the Ghitu
1 Thoughtflare

I sent you a trade offer.

I posted a trade offer for you. Let me know what you think.

Michael,
Just posted a trade offer for your Blinkmoth Nexus request.

Such a treasure that card catalog you have!  I love unique items like that.

Thanks Paul! It definitely makes cataloging easier. I hate to say that I'm about to fill it up already though. But I guess that's a good problem to have!

The real treasure though, I must say, is my wife! I simply mentioned it once that it would be great to have an old library style card catalog cabinet to store my cards in and she took it upon herself to go on Craigslist and find one. She drove an hour and a half to pick it up and gave it to me in 2011 for Christmas. Yeah, she's definitely a keeper! big_smile

I'm pretty proud of my collection and my organization of it. My cards are all catalogued alphabetically by color and card type (eg. Black Enchantments, Black Creatures, Black Instants, Black Sorceries). My collection of over 54,000 cards are currently stored in a library card catalog cabinet. Here's a link to pics of my cabinet: http://imgur.com/a/mTF7r

Seems every time I get close to finishing, I either buy up someone's collection or I get more new cards.

LOL--I'm right there with you.  Still, that's a nice problem to have. smile

I'm the same way as you wizard. I get my collection all catalogued, then I go and buy someone's collection and have more to do! I couldn't agree more with you HikingStick...that's a nice problem to have!! big_smile

I agree totally with these suggestions! I am now adding the details to my collection, which is currently at 353 pages. It is very frustrating to hit the next button 30 times just to get to page 31. Please help make this better somehow! Thanks.
