Wouldn't mind buying some of your stuff from you either, but you not having any trades under your belt makes it a little nerve racking.
Anywhere else you've sold stuff? Ebay? Anywhere you can point us to?

Only problem I have with this excellent update is when you are adding new cards into Deckbox... the system automatically assigns "1" to your trades. If you delete the "1" that's in the trade column while still adding cards, Deckbox deletes the card you just added and you have to add it again. Once you are out of the add cards widget you can manipulate the trading column.
Thank you!
when you start selling your legacy stuff get ahold of me pls.
Will do, man. Will do.
One small Bump.
The auctions end this weekend. Thanks guys!
Same -.- A shame
If Ebay wasn't so draconian with the releasing of monies for sellers, it'd be a different story. Since I cannot use tracking outside of the continental US, I would have to wait upwards of 2 weeks for Paypal to release my funds. Ebay/Paypal has made it extremely difficult for a seller to do business on Ebay. They will almost always side with the buyer and this is the result. Sorry guys.
Boo no shipping to Canada
Yeah sorry, tracking doesn't work outside the continental US and I've been burned too many times. Sorry again.
Hey all,
I'm selling most of my standard as I need the money and I'm not liking Magic right now I'll probably sell my Legacy as well, but that will be for a different day.
I have it on Ebay if anyone is interested.
Oh well I don't need anymore. Just got the last 3 on TCGPlayer for less than 25/ea.
OP, take a look at my stuff, I am interested in giving 22.50 in trade for Foil Shaman, if you are interested. Start a trade.
I would say that Foil Deathrite Shaman is 22.50/each. It's seeing more play in Standard and in eternal formats. On Ebay it's valued between 20 and 25 dollars.

Paying $2.80 shipping vs $0.65 makes a huge difference quickly here. I'd rather lose the 1 in 100 (or whatever) envelope and send a PayPal payment or duplicate cards for that.
Use PayPal to print labels and you pay less than $1.70 to ship up to 3oz. (US, domestic) including delivery confirmation. To me, that amount for shipping is less than what it would cost for me to visit a local game store. No headaches or lost time, either (e.g., waiting a month to see if post office delivers, re-mailing).
maybe im a paypal postage idiot, but everytime i try this, it tells me that the price is more than 1.70. matter of fact, youactually reached out here on a post I wrote a while back. do you have an idea how im getting 2.60 instead of 1.70 in the price field?
Perhaps you aren't choosing "Package or Thick Envelope" under 1st class mail? Another thing is... you should be choosing 3ozs for the weight (Unless you are sending bunches of cards)... the last thing is... you could be sending it with Insurance perhaps?
I've done it like this and I've always gotten my shipping for 1.62 w/ Free Delivery Confirmation.
I almost feel like delivery confirmation should be a requirement at this point, seriously. Enough with trying to get the cheapest shipping possible, especially if you're sending cards worth over $25. I don't care how poor you are. If you can afford to play Magic in the first place, then you can afford $3 for shipping of cards. If people are using DC, then there is none of the, "well, he said he sent it on the 7th, but I never got it, then he said he sent it on the 18th again..." bullshit. If you use DC, this is what you see on USPS.com:
Dispatched to Sort Facility
November 15, 2012, 6:20 pm WILMINGTON, DE 19801Acceptance
November 15, 2012, 8:24 am WILMINGTON, DE 19801It's accepted at the facility and then it's sent out. There is no issue of someone stringing you along with lies of sending it and not doing so. If they don't post a tracking number, they didn't send it. Then end.
Dude, it's cheaper than 3$ to send with Delivery Confirmation. Paypal Shipping is awesome. 1.62$ 1st class shipping and it comes with Delivery Confirmation attached. A friend that ships a lot turned me onto it. I used to drive down to the post office on my lunch break (Which would be 30ish minutes round trip) and pay 2.80$ at the kiosk. I can now print off the label (Paypal does everything) at home, tape it to the package and send it from my mail room at my work.
Such a time/money saver.
From everything that I see this appears to be an honest mistake. A mistake handled poorly I agree, but no bad intentions.
I would agree with you, but it's now multiple people that this trader has affected. I considering myself getting off lucky considering what everyone else has gone through.
I just ran across another user who reported problems with the same user. I referred him (or her) to this thread. Given that there is more than one of you, I strongly recommend you each contact your local post office, describe the situation (noting that you are not the only one affected), and start the process of filing a formal complaint regarding possible mail fraud.
Yes I had issues with the same guy... I normally send with 24 hours of the trade being agreed upon, unless something else happens, but then I tell the person what's going on and then try my best to get it out ASAP. This guy? Nope. Read on:
Zuul36 Sure this will be fine. 17 Oct
Zuul36 I'll send in the morning. 17 Oct
ichorclaw same 17 Oct

Zuul36 Hi there, I show my cards have reached you, but I haven't received the foil Blood Crypt. 27 Oct
ichorclaw I just checked and did get the cards 27 Oct
ichorclaw It should have reached you, if you don't see it by monday or tuesday, let me know and I'll take care of it 27 Oct
Zuul36 Thank you. 28 Oct
ichorclaw I am assuming this eventually reached you? 06 Nov
Zuul36 Yesterday, yes. Postmarked the 30th. 07 Nov
So he never sent it out when he was supposed to on the 17th, on the 27th I questioned him on it and he reacted like he did send it when he was supposed to. Now I live in a town which is 2.5 hours by car away from Katy (Pflugerville) and it's supposed to take longer than 2 days to reach me by post? I'm sorry, but I was receiving items from Maine faster than from this guy in the same state.
Plus the postmark gave him completely away on his lie. Look.... I'm fine if you have a life problem... we all have them but at least CONTACT YOUR TRADE PARTNER!
You guys do understand there was a HUGE draw at GP Philly this same weekend, right? I mean you can't have close to 2,000 people attend an event without it affecting other major tournaments in other regions of the continent.
hanker307 wrote:I can confirm that at GP Philly the SCG buyers were also going around and buying up stacks of Tarns and Mistys from other dealers. At one point I saw the main SCG buyer with a stack of about 500 fetches.
Here's the logic: At SCGOpen legacy events, everyone always goes to the booth to buy Polluted Delta's and Flooded Strand, and SCG is always out of stock on them, so the customers settle for the 'next best thing' in blue fetch lands, which is Tarn/Rainforest.
So why not hike the price up?
EDIT, SORRY, FOR SO MANY, COMMAS
My suspicions are that they are preparing to announce Modern Opens in place of Legacy Opens. They then buy up all the fetches they can find and the charge a premium once they announce the open change. Its smart business wise but unethical. With Legacy only bringing in 91 players this past weekend I have a feeling we are not going to be seeing Legacy sticking around for long.
It's regional with regards to Legacy turnout. You can't use New Orleans as a barometer, the New Orleans area doesn't have a burgeoning Legacy scene.
They will most probably have an event on Friday which will bleed into Saturday, an event which will bleed (Much like Standard does) into Sunday and then Legacy on Sunday.
Starcity is a business and as long as there is a need for a legacy event, they will be happy to take your money to host it.
Profanity wrote:Scratch that. Did I miss something? Why are prices suddenly insane!?
SCG in the wee hours of Saturday morning bought out every copy of Misty Rainforests and Scalding Tarns on ALL the sites online. They then doubled their price and thats now where they sit thanks to SCG.....unethical if you ask me.
So, is there a website that states this? I'd like to read about it, if at all possible.
Oof. Rough timing! What the heck is going on with those prices?
Modern season.
We wouldn't know if you were trading for yourself or someone else. I say as long as you have the cards, go for it.
I am reading the trades as they come in and currently milling them over. You guys really want my Lion's Eye Diamonds...
I can't hold onto them, personally.
I am interested in your Savannahs. If you want to, please take a look at my inventory and lets start up a conversation.
They just rotated people, you don't want them anymore...trade them to me...I need more so I can open up and start filling binder #2, lol
Seriously, I want your birds, throw me a trade offer. http://deckbox.org/sets/141510
You will NEVER acquire my foil birds.... NEVER!
I think the prevailing understanding is that Jace AOT is a standard card which has bloated in value due to a couple of decks using him, which has driven the price up. Force of Will is a card that is always tradable and should continue to hold its value, if not appreciate.
Jace AOT at current doesn't have any usage outside the current standard environment and as such will dramatically drop in value once RtR rotates out of standard or is no longer used as much... IE See Bonfire of the Damned. A Foil Bonfire would have traded straight up for a Taiga at its height, but now no one is playing them as much (And isn't seeing much play in the eternal formats) and now it's come down to a much more reasonable price.
TL;DR - If a card doesn't have an application outside of standard, you shouldn't expect it to trade straight up for a card that's been proven in a eternal format.
Trying to finish off my playset of legacy staples and I have a spare Underground Sea to offer up if someone has a JTMS and a FoW for trade.
Let me know...
I think I'd be willing to do that trade. I have a Jace TMS and a Force I'd be willing to part with.
Hey guys!! This should be my last want post for awhile.

scurveymobile wrote:What do you value die at? If I have some older, hard to find die, what are they valued at?
SCG should have prices for every single die that has been made: http://sales.starcitygames.com//category.php?cat=5205
I will value dice at those prices. However, obviously if everyone starts offering M12 dice for some low value cards, I won't be accepting all of the offers.
Wow. TIL: That I should save ALL of my dice.... some of them are actually worth a fair amount of change.
