hey.

i dont know if this qualifies,  but there isn't an inventory option for cards like this: https://imgur.com/a/vqmO3

i see artist proof and promo, but i believe this qualifies as a test print.

hello. i could be cash buyer if the price is right. got a list?

looking for these guys for standard. deckbox price is low btw.

Heart of kiran prerelease promo is missing

thanks
jim

The set icon for Ftv relics mox diamond is showing up as revised.

I dont particularly like that i would have a cap placed on the upper limit of what i can trade. I have done multiple trades of over $250, some with individual cards in that price range, and have done upwards of $1,500 in trades in a week.

This limit means that i cant trade for blue dual lands, some of the better judge promos, alpha and beta stuff or power.

sad

in my opinion a this pay service is unnecessary.

if you want me to pay for premium, you have to offer something for it. here i just get repaired features that were broken, or features that we have had access to in the past. longer lists? locking my inventory? what exactly are you offering me for my money?

when you say something like the paying customer will receive better support, what that means practically is that the paying customer receives the same support and everyone else gets worse. its not like you are planning on hiring a call center to answer tech support problems.

if too much functionality ends up being on the pay side you run the risk of driving away new users. i would have never signed up if i had to pay, and am still pretty skeptical of the whole thing despite being a regular user of your product. without new users the pool of potential people to trade with just wont be there.

i hope that you guys can iron out a pay service that i can get excited about, but this isnt it.

hello-
i am uncertain if this is a personal issue, or something that is site wide. following the update for foil prices all other prices on my account appear to be frozen. none of them have changed since at least friday. i've tried logging out and in, but thats about as far as my troubleshooting skills will take me, so i thought id ask for help. help?

thanks-
Jim

Yay! thank you!

Lacerators life loss is less of an issue than you might think at first. Often you will have your opponent at 10 life by turn 5 or 6 at the worst. If you played it turn one it did 10 to them and 5 to you. Since you are aggressively attacking with small vampires your opponent will often have to leave creatures back to block instead of attacking, gaining you pseudo life. They will also be forced to deal with it quickly or just die, and a dead Lacerator isn't hurting you any more. Definitely give them a try if you already have them. You won't be disappointed.

Doom blade, ultimate price  and go for the throat all have less restrictive conditions compared to feast of blood. You can always cast them. Snuff out is another sweet one, and would be free to cast most of the time.

I think you are overvaluing your own life total. Use your life like any other resource in the game. A win with 500 life is the same as a win with one life. Use that life to get an early advantage and your opponent will have a hard time catching up.

blade of the bloodchief and captivating vampire are both really good in this deck.

staff of the death magus is not a very strong card. its at its best in this deck, but cards that only gain life don't do anything to help you win (in an aggressive deck you want to proactively pressure your opponent to end the game as soon as possible. life gain extends the game, and doesn't threaten your opponents life total). you also already have a lot of lifegain from the nighthawks.

i am a pretty big fan of vampire lacerator, and think it is probably the best 1 cmc vampire around. 4 copies of lacerator and 4 copies of pulse tracker is a great place to start. you will almost always be attacking starting turn 2, and can potentially have draws like - swamp, lacerator, swamp 2x tracker. this is very tough for most decks to deal with. back that up with removal spell for their first good creature they play and you probably win the game.

doom blade, murder, go for the throat or heros downfall are better than grisly spectacle or feast of blood. they are more versatile and don't require you to have vampires in play. festering march is bad. shrivel is better (because its so much cheaper), but mutilate is better still (because you can kill bigger stuff for cheaper). none of those should be in your deck. you don't care about 1 toughness creatures very much, and can deal with the good ones with targeted removal spells like the ones listed above.

i would also replace all of the enchantments with either more creatures or more removal spells. again, you want to pressure your opponent, and those cards can be blanks without creatures to attach them to. blood reckoning and hissing miasma are just too slow. you play them on turn 3 or 4 and hope your opponent attacks you so that you can deal them some damage. if your opponent is low on life they bide their time and don't attack until they can kill you. if they have a lot of life it does nothing to prevent them from attacking. in both cases a 2/2 creature is more effective.

i mostly agree with what darren said.

coordinated assault is very similar to thunder strike, but superior in my opinion. magma jets would be better, but assaults can completely destroy an unsuspecting opponent. costing 1 mana instead of two is hugely beneficial.

im not sold on using anger of the gods. it kills every creature in your deck unless you have 2 rageblood shaman in play. swapping them for two more mizzium mortars would allow you to keep the sweeper effect, while keeping your creatures alive.

blood crypts are expensive, but they are worth every penny. they will also hold their value long term, so it is likely that you will be able to trade them in the future if you find yourself no longer using them.

my personal opinion is that guildgates are almost always worse than basic lands. your deck is aggressive, and having your second or third land come into play tapped is likely a death sentence for your deck. turn two, three and four you need to be playing threats, and tapped lands slow you down by a whole turn. this is why blood crypts are worth their weight in gold.

just my two cents

Hello-

I joined deckbox a couple weeks ago, and i just wanted to thank the powers the be for doing an excellent job on a great site. I've had nothing but positive experiences.

Nearly every day new bad trading report shows up in the forum. I feel that a greater effort should be made to emphasize the number of positive trades that are made each day. A completed trades counter for all traders combined would provide the community as well as the new user with reassurance that there are hundreds(?) of positive trades happening daily. despite not having any real function, i would love to see how many people got the cards they wanted in the mail today.

Thanks again-
Jim

swan song is pretty bad in standard. its narrow, and can completely miss against some decks. in addition it gives your opponent a threat. plasm capture is a pretty awesome counterspell in ug, and i would consider adding 1 or 2. prognostic sphinx and aetherling are kinda a nonbo with your garruk since he only puts green creatures into play. mystcutter hydra would be a nice addition as it is good early and good late in the game. i would also add the 4th elvish mystic. your best opening hands are always going to contain that card.

you have very little to do early in the game. i would consider adding 4 of some 3cmc creature. i personally like biovisionary...but its probably not good.

thats my two cents

i pulled a karn and a foil blightsteel in a sealed pool one time. don't remember what else.

i pulled xenagos, ashiok, hero's downfall, erobos and his whip out of a theros sealed. other rare in that pool was pixis, but there was a foil reverent hunter behind it cool.
