I was just doing a quick search and came across a fairly specific and unfortunate limitation of the search function.
I searched for 'Contains: Ape' and realised it (and similar search options) could probably do with a third option to search for the specific term, rather than including it as part of a larger word. Searching for 'Ape' brought up Spellshaper and Shapeshifter cards as well as the simians I was hoping for. A slightly awkward side effect was that one of the top options, alphabetically, was Alex, Zephyr Mage, which gave me a bit of a "wtf?" moment given the search term!
Well thanks for putting MH2 in already - cards have been sat on my desk waiting! Best of luck solving the etched issue, the additional checkbox seems the only logical solution to me, in line with how foils are handled already.

Ah great! I was hoping to add my CCGreen. On a semi-related note, I was updating some of my cards the other day and I noticed that the double-sided Helvault Angel/Demon token is listed as two separate cards.

The new cards are in, as I was able to add the decks on my acct, but the Plane Cards are not :S. Hopefully they'll add them soon.
Harsh though it sounds, that's more or less exactly what did with night 15000 cards...
I added them in blocks of hundreds then went through each one and editted the stats. This was before the auto-complete section! An easier way to add complete, new sets would save a lot of my hair.
Fire//Ice from Mirror Mastery doesn't have an option for Commander in it's edition drop-down.

I know it's probably not quite what you want to hear, but what I do, is copy the decklist and paste it into an empty deck with the right name. The do the same in the inventory (or alter the number owned in the deck page).
Tember City (Planechase Plane) is missing from the card library, just spotted it when I went to check on my collection.
Also, any news on searching by promo/foil? My friend has given me a huge list of foils he wants and I can't find an easy way to search my collection to check if I have any.

Still loving the site, having a complete record of all my cards and decks is a hobby-changing experience. Thanks so much.
But on to my question; Is there a way to search for mana symbols? For example, I want to find lands that tap for Blue & Black mana. As far as I can see there is no way to do this except search for all lands ever and go through each one till you see the ones you want.
Am I missing something or does this capability not (yet?) exist?
Surely you could just copy paste a card image into word and print it?
Or maybe do what I do... stick a land in a sleeve with a post-it note stuck to it with the details of the intended card on it?
I am often flicking through other peoples decks for ideas or if they look good, to copy almost completely. I know I can copy them to my own collection, but that's a lot of hassle when all I'd like to do is see what I already own what's in their deck. Is it possible to add the 'inventory count' & 'wishlist count' boxes to what you see when you view other peoples decks?
Can this be done? Would anyone else even care, lol?
Thanks for putting Elspeth vs Tezzeret up. I'm cataloguing mine now, but noticed that Aether Spellbomb from the Tez deck is missing from your library. At least as catagorised for this deck. It only shows up as a Mirrodin card.
Simon and I were talking about this the other night... he's not quite asked what I think he actually wants lol.
You can keep track of all the cards in the inventory and see which edition each is from. But they're obviously mixed in with all the rest of your cards so you don't know which is in the cube.
The obvious answer is, "make a deck called 'cube'". Unfortunately, you can't define in a deck which set or edition you'd like the card in that deck to come from. So in order to keep track of the cube, Simon must jump back and forth between inventory and 'deck'. He still won't be able to declare which set the Giant Growth (for example) being used in his cube is from.
I believe what he would like, is either a special deck type for cubes where you can assign specific sets for each card ...or... add this capability for all decks.

My friend was looking through my collection for foil cards and commented that it would be great if you could search by such soft options as:
Foil
Promotional
Textless
...etc
I looked around but couldn't see anything that would let me do this.
A filter would be nice, though if it were a mammoth task I'd skip it. I do have my commons/entire collection on here more or less now, but the total value doesn't have much meaning to me other than to gawp in horror at .
I know it's also not on the gatherer... but any chance of the 'DeckMasters' box set being added?

Also, will you be adding the new 'Duels of the Planeswalker' sets as their own expansion? They have a Unique expansion symbol.
Lastly... please can you add the Premium Sliver set! I still haven't added those cards.

I agree with this problem... I spend a lot of time editing the sets and condition of my cards.
A default would be nice... perhaps the most recent set? + English language and Mint condition? Though I suspect people will want their default language being... their language in some cases!
Couldn't add my 'Deckmasters' box set last night cause it's not an option either.
You must be getting driven mad by us lol 
...plus also a set definition for 'From the Vault' boxes? Player Rewards, dci, pre-release, etc also? I just leave the expansion section blank for these at the moment
