So this means I'm going to draw a member's name for a Gatecrash booster box. Excited? Well you deserve it.

I figure there are two ways of doing this.

1) I draw a random member from the membership list and ship the box to them
2) I post an event to everybody and as long as you've signed up (thus showing your an active memeber) you get an entry.
3) I filter out members who have never traded before or have empty accounts. Then draw from the list of members who have active accounts.

The point being that i want to weed out anyone who has an empty account or has never traded on Canadain traders before.

The draw will take place on the release date for Gatecrash on Feb 1, 2013.

What do you guys think is fair?

I'd say option 2 is probably best for the draw.

#2 is good

Option 2 sounds good, 3 would prob be the best, but it seems to be alot of work, so 2 would be my vote.

Option #2 would definitely auto-weed the inactive members. However, if you went with option #1, you could check the drawn name to see if the member has never traded or has an inactive account and perhaps draw another name until you draw an active member's name.

Option #3 does seem like more work than necessary.

I think option two because some people on here only trade locally, and for whatever reason when I traded with another community member it wouldn't let us give feedback? I met up at a local card shop and yeah maybe I just don't know how the system works on here lol.

#2 would be fine.

i like trinket mages idea draw a name and see if there good or not.

I like # 3, not sure if it's practical but it seems the most fair.

Sign up for the event to be counted for the draw!!

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. If you signup for the event then I'll consider you an active member regardless of what your trade status is.
