Topic: Status of Feature Requests?

Can we get some form of communication regarding site updates, dev roadmap, or a status of feature requests?  Even if the update is "development is on hold, life is busy".

Thanks!

Edit:  A good example is this list of feature requests that are all on the first page of this forum, with zero response from a DB representative (believe there's only 1).

Re: Status of Feature Requests?

Hadn't even noticed mine had been bumped off the first page. How time has flown! But I'd like to add mine to the list:

Re: Status of Feature Requests?

A roadmap of planned features would be wonderful. If there's anything we as a community can do to help, I'm sure people would volunteer time. Suppose that some features could be implemented, but gathering/validating the data and putting it in the correct format is a barrier to progress. Having more transparency about upcoming features would let us organize and help speed things along, instead of complaining or otherwise venting our frustrations unproductively.

Request: See Cheapest Printing instead of Last Important Printing - July 2016
For cards in decks, tradelists/wishlists, and actual trades that don't have a specific printing marked, we currently see the set and price info for the 'last important printing'. It would be useful to instead see info for the cheapest printing for multiple reasons. It would: ...

Tokens should be differentiated based on color, type, abilities, & P/T - December 2014
Glad to see that tokens are in the database, but it seems they're only classified by their name. This is troublesome, because there are many cases of different tokens having the same name. 'Soldier', for example, has 4 different kinds: ...

Request: Sorting Wishlist by Importance - June 2016
I sent a link to my wishlist to another player today, and would have preferred to sort it by whether the cards are important. It appears that the 'Important' flag is not visible publically. Don't know why that's the case, but it'd be nice to make it public for just such an occasion. Sorting by that flag would be even nicer.

Multiple times and multiple people (myself included) have offered out time free of charge to help out with the site, but so far Sebi has refused. Honestly, I dont know what is even going on any more with the site. and response time

Hey. As mentioned on the sticky of this subforum, the quickest way to get a response is via a support ticket. My time is limited so I try to deal with the support tickets and programming and maintenance in the little time I have, the forums have become a very large time sink for me, so I only rarely come to directly offer answers on the forums, for about a year now I think.

I am grateful for the offers to help, you guys rock for offering! But as I said before, accepting that help also implies management time from myself, and setting up communication channels between me and the helpers, systems to report the roadmap and progress on issues, etc etc, all things that take up overhead time, that I don't really have.

I'm sorry for the delay on this last release (tags for collections, details for cards in decks, filter saving, notes for cards in collections.), that I initially thought would be able to come out last November, but it kept getting more complicated. I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel though.

Thank you for understanding.
