Yes but that does not account for any foils, Promos or anything like that.  Considering that there are quite a few 25 cent cards on that list that are $5-$10 foils, plus quite a few mithics that are $15-$25 list that are $40-$50 foils.  it makes it worth a significant amount more.

looking at the foils you have listed, you are over valuing the foils/promos in your list. cryptic command foil (how you have it listed) is only 72 cents MORE than the regular foil with text. That is TCGplayer pricing. If you look for the same card on starcitygames, it is 34.99 NM.

Just because it is foil does NOT mean it is worth a lot more than the normal. Demand deals with the price. If there is NOT that much demand, the price is not as much. I would suggest that you go through every card on BOTH sites to figure out what it is worth. I am with the others. You are asking too much.

when someone asks me for a foil, I look at both sites. I make sure which version/condition/set/"promo" it is before I respond. Starcitygames, tcgplayer are the main 2. BUT there are others that deals with these. I don't mind trading $2-10 over reg card for a foil, but that is if it is worth the deal. Most promos are less than the regular ones even though they are foiled. Make sure you KNOW what you are working with. Otherwise you might not get rid of your trade fodder.

you can't go by ebay prices for foils either. You are more ignorant than most.

I bought a foil reckoner for $32 off of ebay. Get over it.

But since you FEEL you know what you are doing, that tells me you have no clue and makes me not want to deal with you.

However, if you can get what you think they are worth, more power to you and best of luck. You won't be getting any of my business/money/cards or what you think you can get from me besides my opinion.

$32 is more than a regular $24 that deckbox has it listed at. Thanks for proving my point.  If I have 100 foils/promos in there and each is worth on average $5 over the regular version that's $500 over the list.  Which would put the list at $2400 which would make $2000 not a bad starting point.

^ If you have any issue with his price start up a trade and discuss/bargain there. Openly bashing someone because they are using the forum the way it was meant to be used is just poor show. I don't know about others, but when I see someone railing on a thread for no reason I know I'm not going to be doing any transactions with them.

As another stated it, if you don't like the price, move on.

One thing that (in my book) constitutes value is that he has the complete cube--surely the amount of time it would save someone putting one together is valuable.  He took all the effort to get those specific cards together.  Anyone who has worked at a collection for a long time will understand that value.

I'm not saying the price is good or bad--I'm just saying that each member will look at the value differently.  While we may disagree, let's not drop to the level of tossing about insults.

If I were to get an offer before its too broken up I'm selling it whole but im selling pieces as people want them. So make an iffer and we'll work it out

I've gotten a few offers for singles so I will make one last effort to sell the lot. Because im on vacation now, am selling some other stuff and am in just a good mood. If anyone wants to buy the full cube for $1600 plus shipping and PayPal fees its theirs. Im going to start taking it apart and sell the singles tomorrow so message me if interested. The cube is worth somewhere in the $2500-$3000 range when you only factor the value of the cards. If there's another $200 in sleeves, basic lands and the box and countless hours spent make it a fun format.

I am sorry if I am coming off as an arrogant ass. I have been dealing with MTG since Ice Age. I was a player and a dealer. I am aware of conditions and editions. I have knowledge and do know what I am talking about even if other people do not agree with me.

I have no hard feelings about Augustella and selling the Cube. I do wish them the best of luck on moving it. It is an impressive collection. Looks like it took a long time to get it that way. I hope you get every bit you are asking for. I am just not one with the means to afford it.

I am here to make good deals to improve my collection. Get cards to improve my decks. Get and give tips to help others. If that makes me come off as an arrogant ass, then we all are. I am just more vocal about my opinions.
