Notes

This is the deck that I've probably put the most work into in terms of trading and reworking for mechanics. There are still several cards missing (Sword of Light and Shadow is one of them), though I find this can be used as a general template for anyone looking to build a solid 8&1/2 Tails voltron styled deck.

The deck functions to set up 8&1/2 to deal unblockable commander damage while simultaneously protecting near everything on the board. The other creatures act to (in most cases) act as defense in slowing other player's stabilization or accelerating your own (eg. Arcbound Reclaimer recovers possibly destroyed artifacts and Aven Mindsensor slows other players tutor and ramp).

There is very little spot removal in the deck (Swords to Plowshares) mainly due to that I find that I usually don't need it. In most cases, 8&1/2 is fairly hard to kill and if an opponent establishes board state, the five board wipes and several of the creatures tend to take care of said problems rather handily.

During play it's imperative that a strong land-base is stabilized. While some decks don't need very much land to function, more land allows you to play more aggressively due to having more open for defense (this goes for casting more spells as well as attacking). This is not a turn 6 kill deck like Uril or Rafiq, it actually tends to become more powerful as the game progresses so don't be afraid to stabilize and secure board state before really going after other players for the kill.
