Hazezon is a unique commander. While most commanders want to stay on the board, Hazezon wants to hit the board and die immediately. With a plethora of mana, you can cast him multiple times before your next upkeep when his army arrives. This can give you 2-4 times the number of triggers!

I run two different sub-combo suites: sunforger, and birthing pod. These powerful engines can chain together to bring access to almost any card in your deck! Something typically reserved for Black EDH decks.

Following the sub-combos, I have listed out all the synergies that make Hazezon's army a force to be reckoned with. Any of the exponential buffs is a surefire way to one hit kill anyone. The haste enablers allow you to swing with your army before any player gets a chance for sorcery speed shenanigans. What's nice is that your abilities and buffs are split between all card types, making it possible to reach them from either combo suite.
