Would make a hilarious Commander deck if I had enough stuff... or, indeed, a legendary dragon.

Shakeup: I want this deck to be mono-red if at all possible.  What do I have that can supply me with the right mana?
- Iron Myrs (4, 3 spare)
- Palladium Myrs (3, not sure how many spare)
- Dragonspeaker Shamans (0, I'd need to buy them)
- Wayfarer's Baubles (2, all spare)
- Pilgrim's Eyes (?,?)
...as well as burst mana spells like Infernal Plunge and Battle Hymn.  It may be worth putting in some copies of Faithless Looting, Wild Guess, or Reforge the Soul (I'd need to acquire Reforges for that, but still).

Mimic Vat is a good card for mitigating removal, allowing me to copy and resummon my dangerous threats, at least until I whack mine in a combo deck or something.  A small dose of Nightbird's Clutches or Traitorous Blood/Traitorous Instinct wouldn't go amiss for dealing with irritating Vampire Nighthawks or other things-in-the-way.
