This deck was built mainly as a mashup between the Mizzix Commander pre-con and the Izzet Guild deck. Only a few minor changes have occured since inception. It takes a while for this deck to get going, but once it does, it stomps.

A few considerations (even though most are permanent):
Howling Golem (works great with Niv, and is a great political tool)
Helm of the Host (on Niv for even more value; I don't even need to attack)
Chaos Wand (for just a bit more fun)
Thousand-Year Storm (so much chaos)
Days Undoing (serious gas, if not that then maybe Elixir of Immortality)
Anger of the Gods (some more board wipe effects)
Archmage Ascension (just draw all the good stuff)
