The objective? Generate a bunch of fast mana and storm count to either cast and activate a Goblin Charbelcher, or create a bunch of goblin tokens via Empty the Warrens. Since Empty the Warrens creates a copy of itself for each spell cast before it this turn when it’s cast (storm mechanic), your opponent has to either Mindbreak Trap or Flusterstorm it to counter all the copies. A single Force of Will won’t do it! If you go the Goblin Charbelcher route, since you have 0 lands in your deck, you will always be activating for lethal damage. One Taiga and a set of Land Grant‘s adds consistency.

This deck is very inexpensive, but you can make it considerably better by investing in a playset of Lion’s eye Diamonds. If you think you’re going to be playing some kind of combo in legacy, the Diamonds are used in almost every combo deck aside from High Tide.

Cost: Around $160. If you can afford $200 more for 4 Lion’s Eye Diamonds and $50 for a Taiga the deck gets much better.
