It's a standard deck using cards I have access to.

If I wanted to make a casual door deck it'd be rather horrific, I have a LOT of really good multicolor ramp.

The slitherheads are in because they're a useful blocker that can be used to boost a wall later on,fortress crabs because they're the best defensive card I have, the deck literally has all of the defenders I own (that are standard legal) at the moment. Pillar of flame is for removal purposes.

Also the fogs are incredibly vital. Without fogs I die incredibly easily due to being overwhelmed. 1 fog = 1 free land drop.

Use Holy Day. Me and Sam have 2.

I think you can try Galvanic Alchemist + Axebane Guardian + random defenders to get something near infinite mana to use the door...

I've been staring at it for a good 15 minutes, and it still makes no sense.

Pretty sure it's about using Axebane Guardian to ramp up to Door to Nothingness, but it would be good to have 4 of the guardians and maybe something to tutor for the door.

Yeh I sort of got that. But why are there Slitherheads and Fortress Crabs and Pillar of Flame. Those seem a bit random. Also, if he needs Defender I'd recommend Walls. They cost less and have more defence. It'll also reduce his need for "fog" effects.
