Why run Disciple of Griselbrand when you could just Essence Harvest?

The lifegain is just a secondary side benefit, not the primary purpose of running Disciple of Griselbrand.

He's so I have an instant-speed, one-mana outlet to sacrifice the Archdemon of Greed during their end step or in response to a Mizzium Mortars or Bonfire of the Damned for some amount large enough to wipe my humans but not large enough to blow up the 9/9.
