Notes

My 'old-school elves' deck when T2 was Odyssey and Onslaught Block, It didn't change much, just it had Living Wish (and a 'wish sideboard' of silver bullets for me to call in as the situation needed)
-Wirewood Lodge just so you can wish one to you when you need/want it
-Gaea's Herald for blue counter decks
-Steely Resolve for Burn decks, normally taking out Timberwatch Elf and one other card (as they are dead draws when my team has Shroud)
-Tribal Forcemage was kind of an earlier Kamahl, he gave my crew a +2 pump and Trample for an earlier win than waiting till turn 6-ish
-Elvish Champion for Forestwalk, and the multiples for against black control, allowed them to survive -2/-2 board sweepers (but remember to have at least 2 out, otherwise the Champ dies and then everyone else does because her bonus goes with her)
-Nantuko Vigilante was a 'wishable' Naturalize
-Ambush Commander for a general finisher (able to alpha strike ala 'swing with the board' and have a few more 'elves' that get through)
-Silklash Spider to deal with big flyers, such as Angels and Dragons
-Voice of the Woods for beating Beasts (at least, back then) as you could churn out a good 2-3 Elementals each turn pretty easily
-Kamahl for a general finisher, and also really good against (then) White Control. With him on the field if they cast Wrath of God, in response make all their land into 1/1 creatures. You got Wrath'ed, they got Wrath'ed and Armageddon'ed.
