Notes

This deck is called "The Chicken". I've been working on this deck for about 3 months, but this is the finalized version. It was named after the chicken from Family Guy and the deck box art is the Family Guy chicken dressed as Boba Fett.

Officially, the chicken in this deck is Emrakul. He is nothing more than a discard scare tactic and something to help against mill decks. Only twice in the 80+ games with this deck have I ever casted him; of course, those opponents immediately conceded and I never got to swing with him :(

This deck is designed primarily around 3 mechanics -- hate, life gain, and mana ramping -- with some secondary help built in -- double strike and protection.

I purposely built this deck with the mindset that I was going to use as many creatures as I could with built-in hate or other functions. This way I could have a creature heavy deck and still get the other mechanics I wanted without instants, enchantments, and sorceries. The functions that I couldn't get with creatures, I went primarily with enchanments to resolve.

This deck currently has about a 70% win ratio. The only decks it truly has issues against are 3 turn Johnny Combo decks and direct damage decks. In all other loss cases, I forced the opponent to work hard for his/her win.

Enjoy!!!

P.S. The sidebar for this deck is still up for debate.
