Gameday notes - 03/02/2014:
Things that happened:
Round 1 [W]: mirror match. soldier of the pantheon swung for lethal.
Round 2 [L]: mana starved against a blue/black. Could have won if the mana had come out. I had answers.
Round 3 [W]: deck played exactly as it was supposed to. Opponent was starved for land. It would have been very different had it played differently.
Round 4 [L]: I misplayed in game 2 and 3, both if which cost me the game. Brave the elements is a two-sided card, and I really need to remember what it does. game 3 was the worst, because I could have easily turned it around, but I goofed. ah well.

Considerations:
- boros reckoner is a great card, but WWW is a hard casting cost. Consider switching
- Skylasher is great when it works, but seems situational. plummet may be a better option? Think it over
- Wondering if the shrine was worth putting in. Didn't get a lot of mana symbols on the field to make it worth it.
- Never got a single one drop the whole danged time. Dunno what the odds are of that, but that sucked.
- re-evaluate what tokens I need. I generate more than I thought.

PTQ notes - 02/22/2014:
Beaten by metagame. Need to evaluate winning decks and find answer for them.

Big issues:
- Stormbreath ruined me. Need anti-flying that isn't white (skyreaping, plummet, arber colossus)
- not agressive enough. I need to have something to play every round almost regardless of opening hand or draws. Ergo i need more 1 and 2 drops, lighten up on the three drops.
- Heroic was too slow. Either I need more heroic triggers, or less heroic guys
- Need to adjust my mana base for more green. More than once I had a hand full of fleecemane, and no ability to play them until lost tempo
- soldier of the pantheon was useless against most of the metagame decks. Waste of cards.
- Mistcutter Hydras in the sideboard for mono blue.
- Brimaz is a big target for removal and such. If I'm going to run him, I need more of him to run.
- voice of resurgence is not good against anything but blue/black. consider sideboarding it more often.
- I have no way of removing planeswalkers. This was a bad thing.

Other things:
- I need to run more protection for my white guys. 4 brave the elements should be mainboard.
- investigate boardwipe mechanics for white.
- investigate green ramp dorks
- Add a shrine of nyxthos for quick mana
- archangel of thune instead of ornitharch
- more daring skyjek? or something that is similar?
-get elspeth back into the mainboard with ajani

Cards to consider:
- Selesnya charm
- mistcutter hydra
- plummet
- arbor colossus
- Archangel of Thune
- another spear to increase draw chances?
- fated retribution for a late game boardwipe?

on my shit list:
- favored hoplite (not agressive enough)
- Hopeful Eidolon (never ran, always removed round 2)
- Ordeal of Heliod (never ran, always removed round 2)
- ornitharch (just too weak)
- Fabled Hero (only useful once... swap with reckoner?(
- dauntless onslaught (good for heroic triggers, but 3 was a bit much given reap can target 3 for triggers)

- trostani
- elspeth
- unflinching (never got to draw it)

    went to game day with new and improved version of the deck. Went 2 and 2. Should have been 3 and 1, but I screwed up in my last games and it cost me the match. pretty badly mana starved one round, which cost me against a deck I could have beat.


    overall I'm much happier with this deck. Still missing some key cards, but I have decent substitutions in there for now.

    did PTQ topday. Played a 7 round swiss.
    went 1-6. Only win was againt a mill deck, and because we ran out of time.
    Have added notes to improve deck.

    lost a whole bunch. centaurs never got played. land starved almost every round. Need to rejig
