Notes

DWARF - SLAYERS

The Slayer deck is built to amass many developments in your battlefield and then unleash enormous attacks with the use of the Serpent Slayers and Helblaster Volley Guns.

Start off by getting 3 developments in your Kingdom to engage the Armouries and Treasure Vaults. An Ancestral Tomb (either paid for or by way of a Dwarf Cannon Crew) would be an ideal first turn play, along with a Contested Village in the Quest Zone.

Once the Kingdom is developed as such, focus on developing the Battlefield as fast as possible. Use Ancestral Tombs, Wake the Mountain, and Mining Tunnels to develop quickly. If you have none of these but have a Dwarf Cannon Crew, use them to attempt to fish for an Ancestral Tomb. This will first power up the Troll Slayers and then pave the way for the heavier units such as Serpent Slayers, Daemonslayers, & Iron Breakers.

Dwarf Cannon Crew & Josef Bugman will help find a Helblaster Volley Gun to attach, or, failing that, a Rune of Resistance to protect a Serpent Slayer or Volley Gun-equiped unit. The Volley Guns are best equipped on Daemonslayers or Ironbreakers without a Rune of Resistance present.

Since developments are your only real defense outside the Battlefield (which is slow to develop), it is likely you'll have a burning zone. Wait for this to call in Durgnar the Bold and your Legend, Grombrindal for a drastic increase in power. Long Drong's Pirates and Merciless Assault also offer a quick power up for attacking.
