We had some excellent games that night. I think the card that did the most damage to me (besides the obvious Whip) was abhorrent overlord. He came down in almost every game. My own was MIA the whole match.

Actually what may have hurt me the most was that I played the wrong deck. I had made that version of mono black some time ago and it wasn't until I looked at my newest decklist on deckbox that I realized I didn't update the deck for a bunch of new cards I had picked up. lol. Felt like a proper fool after realizing that mistake.

The main things that play the chromanticore would be the 2 whips and the 2 rescue from the underworld. In the 20 times i gold fished it and played out the hands I think I drew it 2 times and I think one of those times I was able to hard cast it with double caryatid and the temple. I wasnt planning on ever really casting it but I really just wanted to play it. It is probably better served as somethin else but it may be the only time I try and play it so I wanted to include it in my 75 and with the many dredge style cards I was able to dump it in my graveyard 2 out of the 7 games and hit Bill with it once. So not really luck so much as reliance on spells to put it in the yard.

Yeesh, maybe Moose isn't Mr. Bomb anymore.  Was the Chromanticore supposed to be a pure luck play?

Blue and red have to come off Gold and the Caryatid, right?
