Notes

28 attendees, divided into 4 draft tables of 7 people each.
Because of the groups of 7, drafts were 3 Swiss rounds.
2-1 first round
2-0 second round
1-2 third round (mana flooded the first game, mana screwed the third)

This draft deck was amazing because 4 of the 7 people at the table were going for green, blue/black was wide open, and the other two players were completely new to the game (and sitting directly to my right, so they passed to me for two thirds of the draft). I opened the Test Subject in the first pack and the good stuff just kept coming...

The curve is a little high, so when given the choice I always played first. That worked out pretty well. Biggest difficulty was in the last game when I had to decide whether to mulligan a hand with 4 blue cards and 3 swamps. I made the wrong decision and sent it back to get a 6 card hand with 1 land. I was scared to go down to five but I should have, since I was stuck on one land for two turns and it lost me first place. Still, won 3 booster packs, one of which had a Snapcaster Mage in it.
