Tek and Lotus Guardian seem potentially fun, and useful considering a budget 5-color manabase.  Dragonspeaker Shaman is a must.  Dragonstorm would be hard to pass up, and Day of the Dragons is another cool card.  Though probably better in a deck where your creatures aren't already 5/5 fliers.  Actually, I need to figure out what deck I can put that in...  Hunting grounds would be AWESOME, and it's not a very expensive card.

EDIT:  And reanimation, with Scion.  Guess that's ab obvious approach.

Thanks for the response!  Another thread would be a good idea.  Perhaps a little later - maybe Sebi will start a thread for the community to help determine trading rules once he is ready to revisit them.

From the proposed new section 1.3 "However, it is unacceptable to use one's knowledge of major Deckbox pricing issues to propose trades that rely on users' being mislead by these issues. This undermines the ability of users to rely on Deckbox prices and may result in a trade suspension or banning. "

I certainly understand where this is coming from, but I completely disagree.  I think it should be the responsibility of every trader to make sure they are comfortable with the trade before agreeing.  I think it's a bad idea to go too much against human nature.  Say card X has a tcg mid of $3, but it's $1.50 on deckbox.  I think a lot of savvy traders who aren't necessarily evil people would start up some trades for that card.  Honestly, I wouldn't blame them.  Personally, I don't bother to check other prices before I trade, but I understand the risks of that.

This is not entirely different than people trading for a card because it's featured in a new deck.  I wanted to get a playset of fatestitcher before it spiked recently - I had seen the new decklists using it, and I figured it would go up (I didn't actually trade for any).  There will always be one side with more knowledge.  People trade cards that are sure to go down for cards that are sure to go up.  I traded a mana crypt for 2 scavenging ooze when that was an "even" trade.  I wasn't scammed.  But, it was pretty stupid of me in retrospect.  If people are concerned about value in their trades, they should take upon themselves to ensure it.

Encouraging people to wait a day before accepting trades would probably eliminate the problem, too, since price issues should be caught by then.  Anyway, even though all I did was pick apart one suggestion, I appreciate the thought that went into all of them.  Only posting this because I care about the deckbox trading environment.  Smart traders are better than sheltered traders, I think.

Thanks for the quick response, Sebi.  One more thing - the built decks count on my inventory assumes that I am willing to move a card from deck to deck.  I'm not willing wink What I really want to see is the total from my built decks - that way, I can easily tell that I have 5 EDH decks using strip mine, but only 4 copies (for example).  That's the kind of information I want from the built decks feature.

I would be interested to know whether others feel the same way before you made that the default - perhaps it could be an option.  I can certainly imagine that legacy players might move their wasteland playset from deck to deck, but I suspect many casual (especially edh) players want to build with the cards they have, and use limitations to inspire creativity.

Anyway, select count(count) instead of select max(count) is what I'd like to see for built decks.  For ALL decks, the existing method is great.  Thanks!!!!

The new pricing is great, Sebi.  I'll be redeeming my seller fee for a subscription after my free trial, and then I have no doubt I will renew for real once that runs out.

For now, I'm most excited about the built deck feature, since I physically build only a tiny fraction of the decks I keep here.  Also, the scratchpad will be great, since I used to use sideboards for that, and they always showed up as being part of the deck.  I love that the built deck logo is a lego brick, by the way!

One request, if possible.  When I select multiple cards, I would love to have a "move all to scratchpad" option.  Especially because almost every sideboard I have is really just a scratchpad.

One question (I don't plan to run into this, but I might as well ask):  If I use things like the scratchpad, what would happen if my membership lapses?  Would all the cards in the scratchpad disappear, or just be locked?  I don't want to put in a bunch of work, then lose it because I forgot to renew on time.

Anyway, thanks for all the great work!  I'll be happy to support deckbox with a membership.

+1  Would love a non-foil option.  thanks!

Sorry is this has already been reported.  Eldrazi, etc, appear between llanowar elves and grizzly bears...

Thanks!!

Yeah - it's a pretty sweet ruling - because crypt ghast is best in mono-black, of course.

Crypt Ghast will double your swamps.  Or Guiltfeeder might be good in a mill deck.  Also, Animate Dead is a classic - cheap at 2 mana, and you'll likely find good targets.

No mercy is great, but i've got nothing to trade for one right now.  Goblin diplomats is going on my wishlist, though - thanks for pointing that one out to me.

Great ideas, everyone.  I think I will add furnace of rath and invasion plans, as well as whispersilk cloak.  Dictate is in already, but more sounds good.  I'll have to see if the three red of furnace is a problem in practice.  (I don't have a master warcraft or gisela, and I think I've traded enough for this deck so far).

I know limited resources is banned wink  I ignore the banned list, because this is pretty casual for me.  What I really want is another armageddon, but not the million dollar version from P3K.  I might replace limited resources with catastrophe, though, since I really don't want to leave players with _any_ lands.

I'll take the weenies into consideration.  I'd like to be able to play stuff for the first few turns, then armageddon if possible, so curve is important.  But there's no point in playing irrelevant creatures just to play something.

I've gotten it down to 100 now, but any comments are still welcome - thanks!

Thanks!  I gave it some thought, and I cut all of those but boros signet.  It was hard to cut those, especially burnished hart (which I just want to put in every commander deck).  I had grand plans for burnished hart as a post-armageddon strategy, but I wasn't thinking clearly - how would I activate it post wipe?  I'll see if the deck feels like it has enough accel, or a low enough curve - but the signets will have to earn a place back in.

Here is my zurgo list: https://deckbox.org/sets/805883

I need to cut a few cards, but I'm having a hard time (as usual), since there are so many cards that I want to include.  I don't care if this is the most competitive deck ever; I'm more interested in building something that has a good chance of doing the following:
Attack a lot (e.g., aurelia)
make other people attack a lot (e.g., fumiko)
make sure the outcome of combat is in my favor (e.g., odric)
There are minor subthemes, like indestructible creatures plus jokulhaups, etc.

EDH can be kind of stalemate-y, and I'm hoping this deck can force a 5-player game to stay active and interesting.  All advice is appreciated - tell me if you think the curve stinks, if I have too many enchantments, whatever.

thanks!

You could try whirlpool warrior.

start a trade if interested - thanks!

Hooray!

Propose a trade if interested.  Thanks!

Fantastic!  And a "has note" filter?  You're the best!

Hi Sebi,
I think this is largely a great move - thanks for all the continual improvements!  I would like to make a suggestion, though.  I occasionally use the promo flag as an indicator that there is something different about the card.  Maybe it's a condition issue that I would want to explain if it goes in a trade, or maybe it means I left the card somewhere and may not get it back - who knows?  The point is, it might be useful to have a catch-all generic flag that people can use however they want (and filter on it, too).  Thanks!

I do like the flavor of the reef worm ability - pretty funny.

Cool deck - thanks for sharing it.  I really like the idea of a heavy fog strategy in commander.

I didn't know urban evolution existed- seems like a great edh card.I'll definitely add that to my wishlist now

Cool, I'd appreciate a look at that.  I was also thinking Edric would be a good choice, but I'm already trying to build a poison/unblockable deck with him.
