While I did vote no, ( I do play the format) I think that until the format gains a bit more traction, Sebi (the only dev) has a bit more issues to deal with before he gets to this. Maybe also when/ if this gets more traction from WoTC would it become more of a priority.

I don't think that is the reason. In my opinion, sending a message with a trade offer is kinda the polite and normal way you should send a trade offer anyways. Most people who ignore trade offers are just lazy and don't respond instead of putting themselves in vacation mode.

I agree with everything Kammikaze said. Solid advice.

People really do suck at responding, so I would always advise that when you initiate a trade to always post a comment in the chat. A lot of time for me, this is my indication that my trading partner has responded. Plus anything in the chat log will be better for if a dispute were to happen. Speaking of disputes, I would for sure always try to work any problems that may come up in a trade. Most people would prefer this. I know my completed trades pale in when we compare it to other, but I take my trade score serious and if I screwed something up, I will make it right.

As Kammikaze said "Another way to avoid that situation is to trade with only established traders in the beginning. Traders like myself that have been here for years aren't going to throw away our positive trade reputation to scam someone for $20 worth of cards." I agree so much. I know if a new trader starts up a trade with me, I do have them send first and I will scour their few completed trades to see who they have traded with before. If I see a lot of completed trades that have some names that I trust, I will be more willing to send to them.

If you wish to sell via the deckbox site, the rules require you to have a sellers account. Otherwise it is against the rules to try and sell outside of the site while using the forums as advertisement.

Just in case I am misunderstanding the question, if you are just asking for advise then I can try to help. Depending on collection size, 10% may not be enough of a discount for cards. When trying to move a large volume of cards fast, you will tend to have to lose out on value just to move it quickly. A LGS will probably only offer 50%, maybe less depending what they see in the collection that they actually want. Best way to get the most value is to sell it piece by piece.

Just a heads up, make sure your cards are marked as available to trade. Otherwise they wont show up when someone selects your profile or searches for trade partners.

I am not sure who is really in charge of it, but I do know it took a while for me to get accepted.
