Indeed, we have a bunch of improvements in mind for the edition checklist page already (filtering & sorting options at the very least).

Regarding the numeric input, do you usually input a large number of cards at once? For me, when there are between 0 and 4 cards of a type i found it pretty fast to just click the "+" button quickly a couple of times for the card.

That way I can add them with a single hand on the mouse, and the other hand free to go through the actual cards. Text input would require you to click something, and then to also use the keyboard to put the number in.

Does that make sense?

Fixed the deck category issues for Fate Reforged cards.

Updates for 15 Jan:

- fixed issue with dropdown arrows in decks
- fixed issue with trade dispute page not showing for some users

- imported Fate Reforged:

- imported Sultai Charm promo

- imported promo Stealer of Secrets

Trade dispute changes

As announced and discussed in the earlier announcement post at the end of Decemeber, we will implement a couple of changes dealing with trade feedback and disputes.

First, users are now freely allowed to leave negative feedback without administrator approval. Please note that you need to have a reason for it, according to the rules and guidelines outlined in the rules document (see  updateded section 3.2.

http://deckbox.org/help/trade_rules

If someone leaves you negative feedback for no reason though, please open a trade dispute case and if he cannot justify it, we will remove it.

Second bigger change is that we will not be handling trade disputes in public anymore. Trade disputes can be  pened from the trade page, and will be privately visible to the 2 trade partners and the deckbox administrators.

It is possible that after a test period of a couple of weeks to see how the system works, we will allow 2-3 volunteers from the community that have a record of fairness and community involvement to help if they wish to do so (much like the previous BTR volunteers). The decision on this issue is not yet final, we'll see how the new  process works.

The result of this change for the users is that there will be better tools for admins to deal with the trade disputes, faster notifications and responses, better visibility for dispute cases (users involved will see a notification on their profile in the menu, and will receive emails). It also allows admins to easier see statistics on a users dispute history.

Users constantly involved in a large number disputes relative to the number of total trades will be warned, and subsequently suspended.

Further on, we will move the Bad Trader List out of the forum as well into a special site page that will be easier to search, in the near future.

I will port the ongoing BTRs to the new system today, and address outstanding and open support requests.

Lines one, two, four, and seven are the alternate art promo intro pack rares. SCG prices on each is 99 cents. I'm perfectly willing to go buy all of the intro packs, sell the rares for way more than what they're worth, and get two packs on top of the profit from the rares, but we all know that they are worth 99 cents each, at the most, and probably closer to 50 cents each. Can we get this fixed?

I read all of those reports, and I am grateful for them smile. Did not yet have time to address it though. Later today I hope.

Can we please get the prices changed back to tcg pricing?
I am tired of people trying to rip me off and the current system is super flawed since anyone can go list cards for a super low price thus lowing the average to trade at and rip people off.

As the others have said, we will never go back to using prices from tcgplayer.

Please report bad prices you find via the support system, we will check them.

I was trying to have the ability in edition checklist to either show a particular rarity only or have it sort alphabetical by rarity. This would allow my store binders to be updated for price changes or check inventory counts easier.

Yep, good idea, a couple of filters on the edition checklist page would be useful. Added to the todo list.

Not sure if this is the right topic but I'd like to report a problem I've been experiencing. In the Full Card Database I would usually sort all cards by edition, so that I could easily keep track of cards I'm still missing in each edition. This option seems to not be working anymore as the page never stops loading.

I realized the sorting by edition option isn't working in my inventory page as well.

That's weird, it works fine for me both in inventory & in full card database.

Sorry for your bad experience. Deckbox is definitely not full of scammers, there are thousands of trades successfully finished every month here smile

Since I'm doing work right now on the new dispute and feedback system, I'm actually wondering if perhaps a "cards lost in mail" indicator would be useful on trades. That way users that have repeatedly had issues with lost mail (either incoming or outgoing) will stand out.

I fail to understand why using tokens for a deck (as in properly placing them in a correct area) should require premium membership.

I'm not 100% sure you actually do want to have them in the main deck section. I wouldn't for example. They are not main deck cards, they are only an optional accessory to your deck.

Having them generally in the main deck would require fixes in various places - the counts as you well said, plus others like the deck value, deck statistics page : both mana cost graph and the sample hand generator, and other bits and pieces.

I'll leave this as an item on the todo list, but it's very low priority at the moment. As d72B said, the scratchpad would right now be the intended area for these cards.

I appreciate the reply...new to the hobby and to the site. I jumped into a premium membership, and trading has been very difficult with the lists screwed up. On a side note, the day the premium trial started, my inventory, tradelist, and wishlist got all screwed up and I had to re-enter everything! At least it helped me to know my collection.

Very sorry to hear you had issues with your inventory. We can and do recover collection information in case of issues, if this happens again please contact us via the support button. Especially for premium users, I will do my best to fix the issue within a working day.

Could you tell me what happened with your inventory then? We did not receive any reports of bugs, except for a bug that marked the entire inventory tradeable for some users, which I later fixed.

Any update on when we will be able to see past the letter A on wishlists/tradelists?

Intersections are right now truncated for users with very large wishlists, because of performance issues. Looking into finding a solution for it this week. Things are slower than usual because of holidays...

a) If you decide to add additional service levels (ie premium, premium plus, etc) within the next year, am I locked in to the highest service level for a year?

We will not have extra levels except free and premium.

b) If you decide to lower price levels again within the year, will you credit current premium subscribers as you just did with this price change.?

Definitely.

if he's only incurred .85 he wouldn't owe anything...and if he sold $41 he wouldn't owe either 0.85 or have 9.15 in credit...he'd have 7.17 in credit.  So something is off either with the seller not realizing how much he sold or the fees being wrong.  It's likely the former, but the point I was making was that sebi nor the previous poster had addressed it.

He sold for about 20$, but we do not bill the shipping costs, we only take 6.9% of the actual card value. So the end value he has incurred in fees so far is 85 cents.

Does premium effect selling? I.E. if you sell some cards and you have premium, do you still have to pay a portion to the site monthly based on what you sell? Or does the monthly premium account get rid of the monthly invoices of sales? I quite dislike the portion the site takes out of our pockets. I've only made total sales of around $41 so far, and out of that I already owe the site $10.85. That's worse than eBay.

Hello. You owe the site $0.85, not $10.85, as per your "deckbox bill" page. Where did you see 10.85? It might be a display bug.

Various sections will need to be changed also to reflect the fact we won't have BTRs but private Trade Dispute Cases, Ill be posting a new suggested version when I'm closer to finishing the new dispute system.

Okay. To start, I made some suggested edits to the Trading Rules document and uploaded it here.

This is great, thank you! All points are great.

One thing I would do, in order to keep the size of the document small so that people read it, is move the 4.5 and 4.6 in the general website Terms & Conditions, and reduce them to just a mention with a link, such as:

4.5. In the case that a novel type of dispute arises that cannot be clearly resolved by these rules, it is possible that a new rule will be formulated and made binding. <link to terms and conditions>

4.6. Dispute resolution depends on the user's prior history of trades and disputes. Repeat offenders will have an increasingly higher chance of negative resolution. <link here to extended clarification>

(or something similar)

One request, if possible.  When I select multiple cards, I would love to have a "move all to scratchpad" option.  Especially because almost every sideboard I have is really just a scratchpad.

Yep, will put an option in the "Card Actions" dropdown on top of the listing, so you can select all in one section and move them.

One question (I don't plan to run into this, but I might as well ask):  If I use things like the scratchpad, what would happen if my membership lapses?  Would all the cards in the scratchpad disappear, or just be locked?  I don't want to put in a bunch of work, then lose it because I forgot to renew on time.

They are just not visible if you are basic. Whenever you reactivate, they will be visible again smile

Like I said in the other thread, I'd be happy to help clarify some of the rules (including explaining their motivations)

Sure, let me know what your suggested changes are to the current rules & guidelines, would love to clarify things.

Well that's an unfortunate area to have bugs in, smile.

Fixed now.
