A subset of traders here like to mark things shipped as soon as the trade configuration is finalized, to minimize the risk of trading the same card twice (inbound or outbound).  The ones I've interacted with have always done it only with mutual consent, however.

I wish there was a button to remove from tradelist and inventory, instead of linking it to the action of clicking "shipped".  I go through and do it by hand, but it is a real PITA on a bulk trade of a whole pile of cards!

I'm foiling out my collection and would be interested in that and whatever other foils you have that I don't.

Yes, I was jealous as I sent mine out. This was a great guy to trade with, very good communication and no longer than anywhere else in the world for delivery time. In fact, my cards got to him a week faster than some I sent to England!

Jake has previously posted one for 40.

Sadly, ebay seems one of the best places to see what the "going rate" is.

I have a list of stuff you want and I am looking for foils. Want to set something up?

The tokens from a mythic (assassins from Vraska, Wurmcoil Engine halves, Hellkite dragons, etc) are actually rare because they're printed proportionally to the source rarity. You could always check star city or tcg to see if it's worth it.

The un-set tokens are worth a few bucks, too.

Anything in your tradelist foil?

I am interested in the retainers, not sure if I have anything you want though.  Also I can't ship until 12/3 if time is a factor for you.

I shipped a package to England and I don't remember it costing any more than shipping anywhere else in the world (Canada and Mexico get special discounted rates through mid-January though).

The funny thing is though, I sent it a week before one to Israel and the Israeli one is already there.  Not sure what the holdup is, but the USPS tracking shows it leaving Chicago almost 2 weeks ago.

That would be me!

As you said in your email, we do have a lot in common.  Is anything on your side foil?

There was a thread on this earlier, but there wasn't any consensus.

Really, to me there are a lot of people on here who try to play it like an investment, with no consideration that it's supposed to be fun, and that both people should be happy with the trade.

Seems like a waste of money to me too.  Especially for the multiple hundreds of dollars that it appears to take to actually buy one.

Agreed and agreed.  It saves a lot of zooming and tapping on the wrong thing.

Good luck with that, even if the Jace is foil...

I downloaded to my ipad 2 (wifi only, IOS 5.1.1).  I entered in my login, and like Shoe it got my wishlist but not my inventory or tradelist.  However, when I hit "update databases" under Settings I get "Connection error!" instead of a crash.  I can tap the "Visit Deckbox" button and it takes me right there, so at least the general web connection is fine.

I have been looking forward to this for a while, glad it's finally out!

In the future, do you have plans to allow hand-entering trades, such that it will compare values and when I hit "trade completed" or something along those lines it'd take from my tradelist and wantlist, and add to inventory?  At the very least keep track of multiple trades so I can do it from a computer later?

#1: star city has them at $2 each now.
#2: no idea

Sent you a trade with a fountain.

I am interested in your Niv, see anything on my trade list?

Sent trade.

All of the stores around here (Omaha) sold out in the tournaments, I am surprised other places still have any left.

It would be nice if there was an option to say something like "my continent" instead of either my country or worldwide.

I live close to a post office, thankfully..  It's a pain having to go in during business hours and talk to someone instead of going in whenever and using the machine, but that's the only real hassle.  The customs form takes maybe a few minutes and that's it.

And my map just shows a vague outline of something north of the US, with "here be moose" written on it.  You can't blame us tongue

This thread has been very helpful for me. I just started the practice of removing cards in active trades from my tradelist, as well as from my wishlist, and will continue to do so. I appreciate the guidance you've all shown here. Thanks!

Often, I have so many trades at different stages that it would take me quite a while to manually update my wishlist and tradelist.  You helped me identify a feature request, though--having an option in the trades window to automatically adjust your wishlist and tradelist for any active trade, and then adjusting only inventory when you mark the cards shipped.  That would go a long way toward simplifying things.

Yes!

I have been manually updating the inventory/tradelist/wantlist manually for every trade I accept and it's easy to miss a card or two, especially when you have as many going as I have lately.

give or take suggestions, It's there to help smile

Make sure to check this against the official banlist at http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Resour … -commander

I know Tolarian Academy is banned, but is on Monolith's list.  Sundering Titan as well, but I think that was banned after Monolith wrote that up.
