I guess that depends on how many cards you have.  You can do "multi order shipping" through PayPal and get a good rate, but you'll need some way to weigh your package, and you cannot ship internationally or to an APO this way.  For that you'll need to go to the post office.  You may want to look into flat rate boxes.

Well if you change the settings to use the minimum price from TCG player it calculates it as

"Total value of cards in this set: $150.16 (using the minimum price on tcgplayer.com)"

VS using Average price:
"Total value of cards in this set: $449.51 (using the average price on tcgplayer.com)"

Now that may also may not be realistic, but really the hard part is going to find someone who's interested in buying everything as a lot, then you can work out pricing, and you may even want to consider selling to a store or someone local to avoid the shipping.    The one time I sold my entire collection (except for 1 deck) I used e-bay.  I got a little less than it was worth at the time, but if you document everything the buyers will often do the work of figuring out how much they want to spend on it/how much it's worth.

List updated, Sinkhole is gone & price on Bayou reduced a little.  Blood Moon is also gone.  I'll update the dropbox folder a little later on today.

Set it up as a one sided trade and agree on a price with the person through the chat.  Then confirm as usual, wait for payment then ship.  If they use the normal Payment option (paying for goods/services) through PayPal, then it is eligible for PayPal's buyer's protection, but PayPal charges you a fee of about 3% + $0.30.  If they are willing to make the payment as a gift transaction then you are not charged any fees.

You just have to be willing to negotiate on price.  Advertise here, take photos or scans if you can and be willing to beat TCG prices.  If you sell on TCG player directly they take about 12% and have a delay from the time you make a sale until you get paid of roughly a week.  So keep in mind if you're selling here, even if you undercut TCG player you'll probably make about the same as you would selling there by their avoiding fees.   Generally I try to have cards I'm selling listed on both sites but it requires some work to keep your lists up to date.

What are your thoughts on Fellwar Stone in place of Darksteel Ingot, or Maelstrom Pulse instead of Beast Within (or in additoin to)?  Moltensteel Dragon probably deserves a spot in here too.  Moltensteel + Skittles will usually take someone out.   I can't imagine you needing more land filtering, but Expedition Map may be worth considering too.  A friend of mine runs this general also, and he has several spells to get the dragons back from his graveyard including Animate Dead, Karmic Guide and Necromancy.

You mean like Cockatrice?

Get your friend to make his own deckbox!  wink

I have a Bayou in Heavily played condition.  I have photos on dropbox.  I am primarily looking to sell it, but would trade if the offer is right.

It's definitely sleeve playable, just has some significant play wear/whitening.

Starter 99 folder of images

Starter 99 Zip of that folder

I think I got all of the cards, but kind of rushed at the end of lunch, so didn't do a count to verify.

(I have 172 images, didn't verify that number is right though)

Yeah... the behavior of the default edition setting is not clear enough, I kind of agree... Any ideas on how we could make it clearer? Maybe just clarify the note text under the defaults?

I had no problems learning to use it, and have been using it for a while, but I can see others did not know about it.  Maybe there could be a sticky somewhere of Deckbox tips and tricks?

Also completely unrelated, but I'd really like the ability to use spoiler tags in the forum.

If you choose not to set a default then it doesn't enter a set at all, but if you set it to Theros it will input the most recent printing of that card.  If you set it to an older set then you can specify a specific set when entering cards, but setting it to the newest just seems to prompt it to pick the newest printing.   Try it.

edit2:
Basically the site is smart enough to know that Kozilek was not in Theros so it picks the most recent printing that it can because you've elected to input a default set.  Note that cards in the commander sets will have to be specified as commander, it doesn't put them chronologically like it does the normal sets. I like to look at people's trade lists by sorting them by edition from oldest to newest, and the special products always come before Alpha, so Deckbox has a weird way of ordering sets, but maybe this shows that I spend too much time here.   lol

When you import cards into your inventory you can set default values.  I think you can do this on your wish list as well, but I prefer not to specify a set on my wish list unless I only want one printing of a card.  This way it will match those who did not input a set on their trade list.  If you set the default to any new set, it should auto fill the most recent printing for koz when you add him.

If you ever buy ultra pro 80 count magic sleeves. They come in bundles of 40 wrapped in plastic with its own adhesive. I save those. Then I put my cards in a penny sleeve and into top loaders. Then put them in the sleeve packaging and sometimes put a small piece of tape for good measure. Works great.

You can buy something similar to those too.  They are called "team bags".

A friend of mine built it with Chronatog.  Once he gets a Stasis + Kismet lock in place, he just skips his turns.  If he plays it right I am unable to answer it because everything comes into play tapped.

Misrha's Factory now has individual pricing on TCG Player as well, but Deckbox just pulls one price.

Fall - Median: $23.96
Spring - 10.36
Summer - 29.99
Winter - 61.47

Same with Strip Mine
Even Horizon - 9.57
No Horizon - 9.60
Tower - 15.26
Uneven Horizon - 10.88

It's not as if that rule is enforceable. I certainly wouldn't advocate using extra account(s) for trading, however. As I understand it, the intent of rule 1.2 is to prevent scamming, as implied by the next rule:

1.3 Even in case the Deckbox staff give permission for a person to have multiple accounts, you are only allowed to use one of them for trading.

Specifying card versions within each decklist would be a more ideal method for this, but that doesn't help in the here-and-now. I was just offering a workable solution... no offense meant! smile

No offense taken, and I have no idea of if it is tracked or not.  But it could throw up red flags to have multiple accounts logging in from the same IP.  Getting admin permission seems like an unnecessary pain for something that is just a work around for something that could be a deck list feature.

This is actually an interesting resource.  I put in a mono black commander to see what it would suggest, and it was actually almost all relevant/useful.  (It suggested off color cluestones).

See the image I have attached, it will help you identify sets in a flowchart layout.

Bump, bought the last of the myr I needed, but still looking for more myr tokens.  I updated the first post with an image of the ones I want.

Thanks.

The best solution I can think of that's currently available is to make a new account and use the inventory/wishlist to detail specific editions. You'd only be able to list 2 decks per account this way, (1 in inventory, 1 in wishlist) and it's a little bit of a hassle to login for just that, but it works. I agree that it'd be nice to be able to specify edition in decklists.

This violates the rules:

http://deckbox.org/help/trade_rules

1.2 Do NOT create more than one account on deckbox. (If you have problems logging in, reactivating, or other similar issues, please email support@deckbox.org)

I know you are looking for paypal. But is there any chance you might wan to trade the sinkhole? I am willing to trade up for it.

Sent me a trade request and we'll talk about it.  I'm not seeing a whole lot on your trade list, but you do have a lot of little EDH playables, and I do like some stuff in your inventory.

Edit: Updating the first post, the Cradle sold through TCG player this morning.

I think the simplest solution would be to allow people to specify the exact version of the card they want in deck lists.

I think that would be awesome.

I personally would like to see this as a feature of deckbox, since I like to run older cards when I can. Currently though the best way if you want to know the current value is probably to turn that into an excel spreadsheet and then look up the cards manually.

All hundred cards? Ouch. That sounds lame.

I was thinking that I could add all the cards to my inventory and then open a trade with someone and offer to trade one of each card in the deck. That way I could both select the right version of the card, and have a tally of them all. But that's a pretty ass-backwards way of doing things. And it would mess with my online collection. Surely, there has got to be a better way. If deckbox can't do this, is there another site that does it?

That's just my way of doing it with a 60 card deck.  There are only a few decks that I'm curious enough to do that with though.  Sebi mentioned in 'upcoming features' that there have been requests for adding subsets to your own inventory.  Maybe that is the solution we need?
