What are the thoughts on a paid trading system? Everyone starts a default set of features, but you could pay $1 to upgrade a feature of your account.

This would deter scammers because they would have to provide information to upgrade features to enable their scamming, and they are usually cost adverse anyway.

I haven't traded so I can't chime in on what would be a good baseline and then increase features. But I would imagine that premium members would have all upgrades or an allowance to spend on upgrades the day such a system would go in place.

This would also allow people who can't afford the monthly sub to spend a $1 here and there for upgrades to their account getting themselves value and providing support  to the site.

Putting this out there for consideration.

Letting you guys know I've tried to pay for 3 months of premium but your PayPal form keeps returning a "Missing or Incomplete fields" when using the Debit/Credit card option. I want to pay you guys for this great site but I don't want to sign up for PayPal. I've seen this error in the past where there is another form thats getting submitted so you may just have two forms trying to use one button and its tossing it back.

System is also incorrectly reporting that decks with Theros cards are Standard legal. Could simply just be a timing update since the rotation just happened this Friday.

Just noticed that if you click the password box when changing deck privacy, enter a password and then hit save, it keeps the orginal settings as the radio does not change when the passbox receives a character or click. Took me about 4 decks before I figured out why none of my decks were set to PW protected in their sidebar icons.

Might as well keep both games I'm getting into in one place! I would love the ability to keep all of my card games organized on one site and not in varied spreadsheets across multiple sites. Netrunner is growing quickly and this could be a great time to be THE place to store collections and decks.

I agree. This group is already set up with forums so possibly push this one? which would help keep it active as well. Would be cool if we could get this group to be the premier community for the central seaboard area by having players from baltimore down to richmond.

I'm actually working on trying to find a deck idea for States which could use some testing.

Looking to try and cut down on the fragmentation of the DMV gaming community here. Trying to get in contact with some of the other DC Metro, VA, and MD communities around here and try to merge our member lists together so we can get better use out of trading and the calendar.

Also wanted to get a bit of roll call going

I'm lorddax aka Don. I'm currently playing MtG and WoW. Been playing off and on since the release of both, having sold collection multiple times. Swapping back over to competitive MtG from Competitive WoW as MtG events are more prevalent in my area. Will still collect and casually maintain whatever collection im not competing in just in case I get pulled back in. Would love to start a community league if enough people can get together.

Any chance on getting a format indicator in the same section as deck name, value etc?

Core format is the most recent 3 blocks of the game. On 12/19/10 there will be 5 blocks released so blocks 3 thru 5 will be allowed in the core format with block 2 rotating out.

Ive added a list of all the editions in each block along with the mini releases.

Hey gang! Welcome to the MD Gaming Guild group, the name is totally subject to change whenever I feel like it as soon as we think of something cooler tongue

So take a second to introduce yourself now that we have a forum.

I'm Don Hiles aka lorddax. Ive been playing in the community for around a year now. I used to play MtG at a casually competitive level (PTQs and GPs) but now only maintain one semi standard deck and one EDH deck due to the rising costs of the game. On the flipside my interest in the WoW tcg is rising with Cryptozoic taking over and a rules overhaul. I enjoy the game alot more and who doesn't love earning acheivements for playing a card game?

You can usually find me hanging out at WoW Battlegrounds on Thursday nights at Xanadu Games or an FNM if Im feeling competitive. I'm looking for a group of players to run thru the Raid decks with so let me know if you are interested. I have UNOPENED Ony, MC, and Magtheridon in the mail!

I read your post and was attempting to brew something like that last night and then lo and behold JVL went and did it for me with this weeks BoAB. Aggro is still a good place to be in this early meta and the new entry to our budget list allows for aggro and hand control.

I moved the older standard decks into the extended category for now in case people need to throw something together for the new double extended format.

Added a super cheap scars deck for anyone looking to hop in this block. Not sure on the tourney quality of this deck, it may be mid level depending on if RaziRamp is still one of the main deck. The deck will do well in metas where there is a low amount of spot removal.
