So, $9.99 gets you the DotP game with a promo free, and you can definitely find them on eBay for right around $10. I'd say they're worth $10. But maybe I don't understand economics.

They're worth $10. That's what the DotP game costs, and you get the promo with purchase for most of the platforms (I forget which platforms get what, but Android and iOS both get the Ooze I believe).

Re: Giant Growth, i like the instant speed of it for pumping attackers or blockers. I find myself getting 2-for-1'ed with Rancor. I try to stick it on something and that target gets killed, with Rancor fizzling to the GY.
Re cloudshift, gotta remember they're also good for blinking out things after a block but before combat damage. this is especially effective with Resto itself, as you then get it's ETB effect. Also AoS as you mentioned would be a prime blinker as well.
1W to Slime a land or problem artifact/enchantment, or to save a blocker from the GY seems pretty effective to me. I still could be talked out of it, but it'll take some more pragmatic swaps with good explanations to do it.

So, what do you folks think? Members of nother forum have commented negatively re: Cloudshift and Acidic Slime, but were not real forthcoming with any alternatives as to what might go better in their place. I'm not totally convinced anything needs to go in their place and that the deck's pretty resiliant as-is. Curious as to your opinions.

OK. So I understand sometimes you have stuff on your want list and stuff on your trade list, and you get offered a trade but you don't want to make it for some reason (e.g.; you have another trade with one or more of those cards in the works, you're holding out for a trade of specific cards, etc.). But why, oh why, would people people straight up just cancel a trade with no explanation at all when the trade contains only items in their want/trade lists??
Really, is it that hard to just drop a line with a reason? Am I being to sensitive here? What up? Tell me, please.

I believe there was talk a while ago of a feature being added where one could search for specific trades (e.g.; I've got Ral Zarek, I want Voice of Resurgence). Is this anywhere near to becoming a reality?
It would also be great to only search for trading partners that do Local trades, or search for those that are not Local only traders.

Hold the foil. If you're not going to play her at all, sell the non-foil now if you need cash, but hold that shiny one for all the Modern, Legacy, and Commander foil whores
FWIW, I get better stuff from boxes. I also seem to get better pulls from Target boosters than Wally, but that may just be luck of the draw. Wally I consistently turn my $4.00 boosters into a $0.50 bulk rare and a nearly worthless pile of commons and uncommons.

There is a fifth way - yard, garage, and tag sales.
Chances are slim, but I've heard multiple people in my LGS talk of finding binders of cards with gems in them for cheap, cheap, cheap. Not always MTG cards either, but some of the other TCG's out there as well.

I had Volley in the SB originally. IDK, for some reason I really want to play resource denial with Spectre, Mind Rot and Demolish. I guess I'm just an a-hole that way:)
Act is because I might need some kind of sweeper and I don't have Mutilate. Spree seems like a versatile way to pump my big flying fatties or kill their 4-power or less creatures.
I am taking out the uncastables and implementing a portion of my assholia. See the OP.
So, why doesn't RLoR work? What's the stumble?

Made an edit to the original post to clarify. I seem to keep getting trades and convos revolving around partial trades or trades for other things.
I'm really looking just to swap duals - 3 B/W for 3 R/G
I also have one Isolated Chapel that I would include if someone had a whole playset of Stomping Ground. Have a few other things around to even up if need be.
