I believe the items you are requesting do exist.  Many feature requests are pending on the export function, though.

As far as importing goes, if you have a CSV file in the format of

# Name
# Name
# Name

If you go to your Inventory and click ADD CARDS you can see the Add Cards wizard that comes up with the ability to add individual cards with a card search funcion.  To the left of that are 3 tabs.  If you click on the second tab down, you can copy/paste your inventory list into that box and it will import all the cards it recognizes and if it doesn't recognize a card it will let you know and you can fix the spelling or whatever and then re-import those particular cards.

As far as the Export goes.  Again, go to your inventory, sort the cards how you would like with the filters, and then if you click the VIEW link at the top and you will see that one of the options is Print.  Select that, a new window will open with all the cards in the order that you had them in and you can copy/paste that into whatever program you want to further sort and or just print it from there.

I sort my multiple color right before my artifacts fwiw. There are so few of them that it makes them easy to find.

Thought I would give a shout-out to two places I have found to play MTG here in case anyone else in the Denver area didn't already know about them.

The Wizard's Chest
- Monday's they have a decent amount of people that show up for Casual Night.  Good time to meet people, talk about MTG cards and combos, and play games with other players for free.
- Friday nights are Draft Night (House rules prevent rare drafting so you can focus on building a playable deck and everyone goes home with a rare or two and a stack of uncommons... plus any commons you drafted).  Cost is $20 but you also get a $10 gift certificate that you can use for the next draft so the 2nd one only costs you $10 or you can use that certificate on anything else in the store.
- They also have a Standard night which is a $5 entry but I am not sure what night that is as I have not attended because I don't have any decks that I imagine would stand up against anything anyone else would have right now.
- Tucker is their resident Magic Expert who can also spin a mean yo-yo.

Enchanted Grounds
Cool name for a cool place.
-  Wednesday is MTG Draft night.  $11 for the draft.  Same House-Rules for the Draft as Wizard's Chest.
I am sure they have more stuff happening throughout the week like FNM and Release Events and such but so far I have only been their once for the Wednesday Draft but I had a good time and will be returning to play again there.

-EDIT-
OH, I forgot to mention that The Wizard's Chest also has a Customer Appreciation Program that you will get a 10% off anything in the store for joining and as you play in events (Tournies and Drafts) you build up points and you can earn 10% off all purchases for the year.  So if you do head down to Wizard's Chest, be sure to sign up for that.  If you do, please let them know that Jay Howard referred you... it gets me points and a step closer to my next 10% off coupon lol

I have always sorted my cards by Block/Edition > Color > Alphabetical

If you are building decks and playing with the cards, I have found this the easiest way for me to find the card I am looking for because I know where it is.... regardless of whether it is a C, Unc, or Rare

If you were Trading cards, though, it would probably be better to sort the cards by Edition / Color / Rarity as it would make it easier for the people you are trading with to just look through your Unc or Rares in the edition and color they are looking for....

As far as deck building goes, there are just so many ways to put decks together.  What it comes down to is what kind of play are you doing with your friends.

Are you playing casually and just for fun?  If so, then if can be fun to build decks around a theme and see how they play... build decks with nothing but commons, or no more then 1 of each card, or pick a card and build an entire deck around that one card... there are a lot of things you can do.

If you are playing with friends that just like to crush each other then it would be a good idea to jump online and look up some of the nastiest combinations out there right now and build a deck round those.  I played a guy the other day who had out several Myr cards by turn 4, I didn't have any removal in my hand, and because of the combination he had out, he was able to make an infinite amount of 1/1 Myr Tokens on his turn... well, I couldn't block a million Myrs.... that game wasn't all that fun.... at least for me.... but to each their own.

Haven't played MTG for about 2-3 years and just rejoined at a Phyrex release about a week ago.... have over 1000 cards already... ugh!  I forgot how addicting this game is...

Anyway, since the block is completely new to me and I have been away a while, building decks has been quite a cumbersome task.  But this weekend I put together a couple decks to try out tonight at Wizard's Chest Casual Magic night....

Would anyone be so kind as to take a look at my 2 decks and see if I am going the right direction here?  Constructive comments and Critiques are most welcome.

I went with 24 lands but not sure if I should have gone with 26 as I don't think either deck has much mana fixing.  And if you see cards that you don't think should be in the decks at all, let me know... and a replacement suggestion would be fantastic...

For example, I had the Mirrorworks in my UB removal deck but realized later it was ONLY for artifacts which I just don't have that many of in that deck and realized that those cards would be much more powerful in the Phyrexian Mana Burn deck...

Anyway, let me know if you think I am headed the right direction in ideas for decks or if I am completely off roll

TIA!

Actually, that is exactly what I was coming to the forums to post about.  What gets printed when you print your inventory.

Even just what Rarity the cards are would be a nice start (M) (R) (U) (C)

But the ability to print anything that you can actually show in your inventory would be excellent.  Edition, Cost, Power, Toughness, Price...

And the one thing that would be a GREAT edition to the Inventory is to be able to show the Card Rules as well.... and then to print that would be SUPER awesome.  That would be amazingly helpful when deck building.  You would be able to not only see the cards that you have but also what they did.  I know I could really use that as I am new getting back into MTG.

Hello everyone.  Found this site while looking for some kind of MTG inventory management system.

So far I really like the site.  Could use some additions as far as showing more information about the card in the inventory screen and being able to print more then just the name and quantity but outside of that, I really like the site.

Played MTG quite a bit in the past .... card and online.  Mostly casually, though.  Quit playing around the Mirrodin Block.  Just recently got restarted as I had the fortune to participate in a New Phyrexia Release Event and am hooked again.

Am a little overwhelmed by all the cards and what they do but I am sure I will get caught up soon enough but any help building some casual playable decks for Casual Mondays would be greatly appreciated!

Nice to meet you all.
