Recalling what Sightburner mentioned about some traders claiming lost mail, and knowing that the members of this group are effectively "A-OK" traders, I was thinking we should combine our experiences with traders who are potentially difficult to trade with or have a list of traders who we had a bad experience with?

ill start: This guy named Sightburner AKA Steven Mayotte. He bullied me, and stole my prized Exodia and threw them off a boat!

Yeah that Sightburner guy kicked my wife and slapped my dog!

All in all, I've only had one bad experience so far, with a trader that has been banned already.

Joking aside, I can only think of one guy who I am 100% sure I was cammed by. Went by Micahel with a bunch of numbers after his name.
I blocked him, but I understand he was banned shortly after.

Yeah, that's my one bad experience so far on this site, but thankfully, he was
only my second or third trade on this site, everything else afterwards has been relatively smooth sailing!

Ah yes Michael. I trade with him early on and he took forever to send but eventually did send the big tree after like a month. I did happen to look back on my old trades and saw the horrific scamming he did.

Also this Steve M guy egged my mailbox, and its hot here in Texas. So I ended up eating all my cards in the mail for breakfast in an omelette.

Yeah, him scamming me was pretty much the sole reason I chose to mostly trade with established traders with tons of reputation, and build up my own reputation REAL fast.

The only scammer guy that I've ever dealt with on here is still on Deckbox as far as I know. I see his name come up every once in a blue moon.

His cards never arrived here AND he claims mine never arrived. In the same trade. The "double vasectomy" I think it is called. One or the other I can understand, but come on. He had negative feedback before I even dealt with him so I should have listened to my intuition and not sent until his cards arrived. But I had just had sex or something so I felt invincible and dropped his letter in the box. Live and learn I guess.

Adding a name here "FwistedTate".

Thankfully nothing was lost, but the new user agreed to send first so I'd give it a shot.

1. He didn't send and said he lost the card
2. He said he found it and would send it out that week
3. When I asked a week later if it was sent, no reply
4. 3 weeks later he still won't reply with any updates even though he's logging on to DB.

I'd just avoid the trouble here especially communication wise.

I’m putting out there a trader by the name of “Kinsio”:

The guy had sent an offer and closed it after a couple days when I hadn’t even gotten to it yet. By itself, that’s fine. I clearly point out in my bio that I get busy with work, so it takes me longer to respond compared to others. Some of you know this firsthand. What I don’t care for is him then mouthing off to me saying I should be sending replies. Like, you have 5 trades to your name (at the time)…who the hell are you to tell me what I should or shouldn’t be doing? Talk to me again when you’re out of your diapers.

I did reply that he should have checked my bio and to learn some patience, but he simply replied with “lol”.

You all are obviously free to do whatever, but he’s now on my no-trade list.

Phillip Rendon was a bad trader for me. We were talking about a trade, I was busy house hunting at the time and I was sitting on a box I was waiting to open, so I canceled the the trade after 4 days of talk. They then opened a dispute and wanted to give me a negative rating for a trade that didn't happen. :rolleyes:

There are a couple more, but one was banned for being a scammer and the other ones no longer use the website, so not worth bringing up unless they come back. Though one of them is the cause of my only negative feedback....damn him....

I just finalized a trade with them. Big trade (for me, >$50) and I asked them to send first, but they didn't acknowledge. Let me just double check that and try to avoid a tantrum later

Each experience is different, but I did have two tracked trades with Kinsio. The first one got lost in the mail by USPS, but Kinsio agreed to send first so they were able to get their money back and I didn't send any cards. The second trade just completed where they were still willing to send first when I asked, but communication is a bit choppy. Everything did arrive well in the end and packaged well.

That's good. I'm glad the trades are sorta working out. I just thought it was odd to come right out the gates and burning bridges when he had only a handful of trades - not the attitude I'd be expecting from a newbie. Hopefully he'll chill out with others.

Finished the trade with Kinsio. Everything went fine
