Sure, Shriekmaw can be evoked every turn with Karador out, but I usually have better things to do, and Shadowborn hits more targets. Deadbridge generally becomes a huge target, and never gets me what I want anyways. And I cannot once recall actually having the Elixir on board when I need it. Burnished Hart provides more ramp (which is never a bad thing to have) and Rescue has so many potential applications!

Rescue is cool and fun, but is very easy to "mess with", whereas Tempt with Immortality will always get me a good creature, and if someone is foolish or not paying attention, it can grab me a combo. As for Reap and Sow, I rarely use it to blow up enemy lands (and I have plenty of other ways to do that), so Tempt is basically exactly the same card, and has to potential to be the same card two or more times. Fetching both Urborg AND Coffers with one card is amazing. Finally, I know Kokusho is a great card, but he will find a home elsewhere, and his replacement is pretty awesome, as well. This deck loves having more answers and exiling is the single nastiest thing you can do to any card that isn't a commander.

I pretty much hated any time that I drew the Salvage, and the dredge never helped. So I swapped it out for a land with a little more versatility. As for the Tutor swap, Kaalia really wants Enlightened Tutor, and all Karador ever searched up with it was Birthing Pod. Creature combos are the focus of this deck, so I figure being able to search up a combo piece at instant speed would be nice.

I figure if they print this land "just for me", then I should use it, right? And upon review of play, I find that the AMOUNT of mana I generally have access to is more than necessary, but I am sometimes hindered by my access to COLORED mana - and what better to remedy that than a land that can tap for any color I might need?
