This deck relies on Festering Wound and Pillory of the Sleepless to deal damage, although rebels serve as a backup. Nine cards prevent creature-based aggro.

Angel's Trumpet adds Pillory-effect to Brainwash, Bound in Silence and Pillory of the Sleepless (Paralyze doesn't combo here but is effective against all early creatures). Vigilant Martyr and Mine Excavation protect the enchantments.

The 2 and 3 cmc slots are overrepresented to bring reliability to rebels. Most of them will be fetched at 3 and 4 cmc anyway. Blightspeaker is used to fetch Rebel Informer who can rescue rebels from play to deck. Moonglove changeling acts as a rebel in the deck. Rebels can fetch each other during enemy turn and thus avoid summoning sickness and Angel's Trumpet.
