      I can't see how it won't be. I would love if they banned the mechanic all together... or an errata that you can play them, but not as companions in eternal formats or something.

Wish I thought otherwise, but supporting both costs with WG and costs with UU in a deck also running Wasteland and Mishra's Factory seems a hair greedy. (Basically I'm just questioning the two counterspells.)

Also, I could imagine Living Wish being good in the deck: it gets Painter's Servant, 4th Wasteland, Ramanup Excavator, Knight, etc. etc.

Riftstone Portal somehow?

  good points - modified a bit. i like the living wish idea. I'm struggling to figure out a good balance with Riftstone Portal though. :(
