What about turning this into a Lurrus deck?

Graham | 05-May-2020 21:43

Seems like you would almost have to, at this point. Free money, basically!

I'm definitely dissauded from trying too hard with any Lurrus brew because it HAS to be banned, right?
- - Graham | 05-May-2020 21:52

I can't see how it won't be. I would love if they banned the mechanic all together... or an errata that you can play them, but not as companions in eternal formats or something.

I'd also be fine with that.

Wish I thought otherwise, but supporting both costs with WG and costs with UU in a deck also running Wasteland and Mishra's Factory seems a hair greedy. (Basically I'm just questioning the two counterspells.)

Also, I could imagine Living Wish being good in the deck: it gets Painter's Servant, 4th Wasteland, Ramanup Excavator, Knight, etc. etc.

Riftstone Portal somehow?

good points - modified a bit. i like the living wish idea. I'm struggling to figure out a good balance with Riftstone Portal though. :(
