All and all, I feel like the Blue splash is a fine version, but your manabase needs tweaking and I wouldn't splash for more than EE/ruins combo.

I will also say that the Blue splash is more Prison with a Combo backup whereas straight RGCL is Combo with a Prison backup.

If you're serious about wanting to play Lands, I HIGHLY recommend you give this a read.

EDIT 2: I see that Ruins is indeed in the deck, so what you actually want to do is -2 Tolaria West +1 Barbarian Ring, +1 Manabond
