I first started playing Magic during Homelands. I bought sooo many of those crappy Homelands boosters hoping to get Baron Sengir, but never did. In the end, I bought a $20 comic book that included the Baron as a promotional item, but after that I didn't get any vampires to build a deck around him. So I quit playing Magic around the year 2000, but then started playing again during the pandemic, and aquired enough vampires in Crimson Vow and New Capenna to finally build the vampire deck of my dreams...and wouldn't you know that Castle Sengir supports Maestros colors too!
