I would use 3 Skullcrack's in your sideboard when you are playing against Azorius Devotion/Control. Just to stop Sphinx's Revelation
Would also sideboard the Ash Zealots in a lot of cases; you want to limit the amount of {R}{R} you run into 2nd turn. Just in case you want to play a creature with Burning-Tree Emissary as opposed to burn. Might want to consider Scavenging Ooze.
Well burning tree is my only green and its whole purpose is to accelerate into 2nd turn firefist or burn. I do agree with the skullcracks though.
My Gruul deck never came to light. It was easier to get cards for red deck
