Notes

My Sealed/Limited deck from a 7-man event we had at Jeff's on 3-14-2014.

I pulled a Kiora, Temple of Mystery, and Sylvan Caryatid, so it was an easy choice to play Simic.  I didn't have much (any, really) interactive blue or green spells, but had 3 white kill spells (and good mana fixing with Sylvan Caryatid & Karametra's Favor), so I splashed white to make it a Bant deck.

Went 1-1-1 in matches.

Match 1 - vs Mike (R/G deck)
Lost 2-1 (I think? Might have been 2-0, I forget)
He seemed to have every answer imaginable and beat me pretty handily.  Game 1 he curved out from turns 2-5, playing really strong creatures.  When I played my Kiora, he had a Bolt of Keranos to kill her immediately after I +1'd her.  One of the other games, I was worried he had Bolt in hand, so I -1'd her to draw and play 2 lands, but he had Spark Jolt in hand.  Everything else played out similarly.

Match 2 - vs Alex (R/W heroic deck)
Won 2-0
Game 1 I had to mulligan to 6 but played a turn 1 Sedge Scorpion and was able to control the entire game from there.
Game 2 he had to mulligan to 5 and kept 1-land hand.  He didn't hit his land drops very quickly and I was able get a really strong (though defensive) board presence.  I felt bad because I played it really defensively, not wanting to over-commit and lose a creature to some heroic shenanigan, which probably delayed the game longer than it needed to...but I eventually won (easily, but slowly).

Match 3 - vs JGarski (R/?)
Tied 1-1-1
Forgot what deck he played. I remember he had Forgestoker Dragon, so he was red for sure.  He won game 1.  In game 2, were were late in the game, both at low health, and he conceded because he thought I was going to win the next turn, but he misread the board and he didn't realize if he would have used Forgestoker Dragon to make my lone flyer unblockable, he could have swung for the win.  So I got lucky there.  Game 3 it went to the wire - I stabilized late and after probably 15 turns or so the round timer was up.  He had around 20 life, I had around 5, so I started playing for the tie.  I hate playing for a tie, but with the timer ending, it was my only hope, as my deck is really slow.  I ended up tying.

I placed 4th out of 7...I feel like my deck should have performed better, though Round 1 was so rough because Mike's deck worked so amazingly well, curving out and having the exact responses needed to deal with my deck.  Also I'm fairly certain I would have won match 3 game 3 if I hadn't been forced to play for a tie, which would have put me at a more respectable 2-1.

Jeff got 1st place with his Golgari deck, Mike was 2nd, and I believe Vegas was 3rd.  I played Jeff afterwards and beat him.  He won game 1 after I scooped on like turn 5 due to a misplay on my part and him taking out my Sylvan Caryatid with an unexpected 1-damage attacker (that I blocked) + Drown in Sorrow.  Games 2 and 3 played out a lot like how I wanted my deck to play - Kiora's emblem won both games for me.

All-in-all, I really really liked the deck.  Floodtide Serpent + Karametra's Favor/Stratus Walk proved to be a crazy strong combo.
