    out of curiosity... why Toxic Deluge over pyroclasm?

      The flexibility.  Being able to kill Goyf, TNN, Mongoose (not that anyone plays RUG Delver anymore...), Batterskull token, or even a Show and Tell'd Emrakul.

        And that seems like it is worth the extra mana and life loss?  Have you encountered issues with Eidolon of the Great Revel?  That card is why I went with Pyroclasm in particular, but I've been strongly debating between the 2.

          I think I may have wished for Deluge once that I can remember, and I don't recall if Pyroclasm would have gotten the job done.  Against Burn (the only deck I know of that plays Eidolon?) I just try to get a Griselbrand or Archangel into play as fast as possible.  I don't think this deck can afford to take a more controlling role against Burn and instead needs to just race.  I'll keep an eye on when I use Deluge, whether Pyroclasm would have been better.  If that happens enough then I'll certainly try switching.
