Olivia is why better in my opinion. You get access to reds burn effects as well as awesome creatures. Falkenrath Aristocrat, Falkenrath Exterminator, Crossway Vampire, Markov Warlord, Stromkirk Captain, Stromkirk Noble, Vampiric Dragon are all great Vampire creatures you can be running.

Ok sweet, because since you are running the Retreats the fetches are a must.

So lifegain in and of itself is not game winning so I would actually recommend to look at the various Rally the Ancestors decks there are as these have alot of cards that you have and are really explosive. My personal opinion is:

  • -3 Expedition Envoy and go to 4 Zulaport Cutthroats and 4 Kalastria Healer. Having these is just so much better than the Envoy and it still triggers Rally

  • -2 Encircling Fissure and -2 Unified Front and go to 4 Swift Reckoning. Killing creatures ins always better than damage provention

  • -3 Tandem Tactics -1 Serene Steward and add 4 Rally the Ancestors. Seriously, rally is insane in this kind of deck so you can get triggers from Zulaport Cutthroats when you make bad blocks or alpha strikes and then get triggers from Kalastria Healer as you bring them back.

Will first off I would say not to use Defiant Bloodlord. Way too expensive for a deck. If you really want to go the path of Sanguine Bond than I would say go for the combo of Sanguine Bond and Exquisite Blood. This is an infinite combo to kill your opponent. Also, do not run only two Rune Snags. This card only works if you have 4 in a deck. So either cut those entirely or go up to four.

Thats fair smile. Though it is always helpful if you mention in OP if this is buget.

Either way, I would seriously look into Fleshbag Marauder. The ability to have a creature that triggers your Cutthroat and forces your opponent to sac a creature insane. It is just a common so it wont break the bank. I am not a huge fan of Grave Birthing. if you are just looking for creatures to sac then there are better ones and if you are looking for card draw there is Painful Truths.

There is also the Rally the Ancestors build if you want to move in that direction. It is exactly what you are doing and I am sure you can change things around to fit your budget. Kalastria Healer makes the deck awesome as well since it is another source of drain.

Ok, so for the main deck I would look into these changes:
-2 Kolaghan, the Storm's Fury
-2 Grave Birthing
-4 Secure the Wastes
-2 Exquisite Firecraft

+4 Kalastria Healer
+3 Rally the Ancestors
+3 Fleshbag Marauder

The ability to sac all your stuff to your Husk and draining them with Zulaport Cutthroat, then casting Rally to get it all back and draining more from Kalastria Healer, and sacing it all again to husk and then the final set of draining. It seems like a perfect world situation but I have seen it happen more often then you would think.

Hmm the lack of Lilianas is something I am noticing. Being able to get your Zulaport Cutthroats back is amazing. Also Fleshbag Marauder is a great card for keeping your opponents down and it is another target for Liliana.

Hey all, I am wanting to clear out alot of the small stuff from my Wishlist. This involves a decent amount of small value ($.01- $5) that I want to just get knocked out in just a couple trades. This is all for EDH. I am still interested in anything else from my wishlist, but Standard stuff is low priority for me. Hey, I am also building a Landfall deck and I am bacing it off of a deck that placed 37th at this weekends SCG Open. It is a pretty cool aggro deck: http://sales.starcitygames.com//deckdat … ckID=92349

The problem I am seeing is that your deck is being pulled many different ways. Some of it wants to be Aggro some parts wants to be Mid-range and the other part wants to be ramp. Omnath is way too expensive to be able to cast when your opponent will for sure have removal. Same with Dragonmaster Outcast. By time his ability is relevant, you opponent will have ways to deal with it. I think you need to look and figure out what your deck really wants to be before anyone can really help you.

There is no rules against this as I know and I honestly dont think there should be. Each trader is responsible for evaluating their own cards and to figure out if their own trade is fair.

Also I looked at your trades, the trade you are referring too was finished September 8th..... this is looooong before the major spike we see now. I honestly think you are mad at yourself for making the trade after seeing the new price of Jace even though at the time I bet you were pretty happy with the trade.
