Sebi i hope you dont get discouraged by all of this feedback. However i must say that you baffle me sometimes. This will be my 4th post on this issue with no reply from you at all. This is why I havent used deckbox to purchase cards. This answers your question above in my case. The marketplace isnt working for my needs.

I think we are all sorry for the financial issues you have occurred. I too love this site and would gladly support it through the marketplace. However i have some issues with it and have posted in the forum about twice over the last few months without getting a geeboy howdy in return. I also feel that some of the features are not something i would pay for, especially not at $7 a month. consider adding functionality like pucatrade where people can buy points and ship cards to one another for points instead of having to work out a trade. i would love to do that here so i dont have to maintain 2 accounts on different websites.

one thing i have noticed today is that sometimes the average price is due to the only price listed on this site. I saw that Narset, Enlightened Master prerelease card had an average price of $18.50 (which is more than $10 higher than other sites like ebay) and the person that had the card for trade was selling it for $18.50. that seems a bit odd to me.

i have noticed a couple issues with the marketplace and was curious if it just me or everyone.

Issue 1: when i click on purchase opportunities, it does not accurately find the cards listed in my wishlist. Currently it shows that user Byron has 22 cards from my wishlist available for purchase. when i click on him, he has 80 pages of cards on my wishlist. at 25 cards per page that is almost 2000 cards, not 22. i would love to purchase many of the cards off my wishlst but it takes too much time to go through everyone to find out who has a high enough number of my cards to make it worth purchasing.

Issue 2: I decided to try to search for a card i wanted to purchase so see if i could find someone who has a significant number of cards that i need. as i search for Abbey Gargoyles from 5th Ed, i find that user adventuresON has 26. i click on his profile and it shows he has 8 cards i need, 2 versions of animate dead and 6 versions of chastise. all 8 are in various conditions and version but none are an Abbey Gargoyle. if i click on browse all, the Abbey Gargoyle shows up.....along with all 448,700 cards he/she has for sale. this again takes way too much time to be worth the effort.

I love this site and i want to support it by purchasing cards but not if it is too difficult or takes too much time out of my life to hunt down what i am looking for. Maybe i only notice it due to the 6000+ cards i am looking for making it more apparent.

I am in need of thousands of cards to complete my sets so i love the idea of the market place opportunities. the problem i have is on the filter. when i click on my purchase opportunities, (i will use Byron as an example) it says he has 19 cards i need for $1563.38. however i found by clicking on his profile, there are infact over 2500 cards that i need that he is selling. to me that is a great place to shop for the cards i am looking for but i wouldnt have known this from the portal page.

i love this new feature. still a small issue when i am trading for the same card. it doesnt update in trade B that i already obtained the card in trade A. other than that I LOVE IT!!!

Howdy, I was just curious about this. I completed a trade (well i think) with a guy at the end of July. i received his cards and marked the trade as such however he/she did not do the same and has not logged in to his account since the time the trade was made. This still shows up on my active trades and i was wondering if there was a default time that this would stay and then possibly be manually changed by an Admin? it just seems silly that this would stay on my trades forever if this trader is not ever going to log on again.

I am glad to hear about both of these fixes! I can’t count the times that i have traded the same card twice (or three times) and had to scramble to find one locally. Can you also add the functionality on the incoming side? Or at least and option to remove them? i also find myself  trading for multiple copies of the same card even if I don’t need them. Yes I know I could be more vigilant in looking over the trades, but when I have 10-20 trades going on simultaneously and some of them are for 300+ cards, it gets tedious. I also notice that if I offer a trade where the card is not in my inventory it shows red in the trade to let me know I am potentially trading something I don't have (which is awesome) however there is no such highlight on the incoming side when I am trading for something not on my wishlist. Any chance of that happening?

As a side note, is there anything in the works about updating "strict matching" so that it is actually strict? Right now it shows me all conditions instead of the condition I am looking for. It also shows foils when I am looking for non-foils.

I too love this site and preach it's awesomeness to everyone I trade with locally.

i am going to use small numbers to make my point but they will work for larger numbers too. if we have 1000 smart phone users there are 800 android and 150 iphone. at $1 per app buy, you make $800 off android and $150 off iphone. you would have to charge $5.3 for iphone just to make the amount for a $1 app for android.

It also seems to reason that learning android os which will probably always be based in java is better than learning what ever iphone changes to when they feel the need to.

Well then i guess it wont do any good to rant about some commons only having one version.

here Jacob has a Sphinx of Uthuun however it is a foil. I have tried using that drop down to pick a "non-foil" option but there isnt one. i figured it would default to a non-foil unless i selected foil.
