Updates to The List usually get imported later than the main set. This is normal.

The original SLD version is listed under its SLD name, Lucas, the Sharpshooter.

Not directly, no. That would be a great feature!

As a workaround, you could export both your cube and your inventory to CSV, then use Excel to query your inventory CSV for the cards in your cube, get the count from that query, then have a column that flags it as available or not.

If you're not sure how to go about that, let me know and I could type up some process steps.  smile

But I agree -- should be one of the available "extra columns" when exporting!

I'm sorry guys for all the issues. I saw all the broken link reports right before I went out of town, so I couldn't do much over the weekend. I've temporarily fixed the issue for the ones reported so far (Challenger 2022, Reap the Tides, C19), but it's not a permanent solution, so please continue to report any broken links and I'll fix them as they come up.

I've been working on a huge new release for a while now, with new features and a move away from Bitly / Dropbox. It's not as polished as I want it to be, but apparently it'll be necessary to release it ASAP as a permanent fix to the Bitly shutdowns.

Challenger Decks 2022

EDIT: Apologies for the broken links. See my comment below. But they are fixed now.  smile  Please report any others that crop up and I'll fix them as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Many of the tokens will not import until Sebi adds them to the database. UNFORTUNATELY, this will stop the entire CSV from importing. I used to be able to add the tokens as "information only" without putting a number in the Count column, and Deckbox would ignore those rows during import. However, now any missing Count value will throw an error.

So I had a choice between leaving the tokens out of the CSV until they're in the database, or creating a CSV that doesn't fully import yet. I went with the latter "more info is always better" approach and kept the token info intact, trusting that most MTG players will be able to figure out how to get the rest of the CSV to import. However, if this is a major problem for multiple people, I may change my mind.

(And I've brought this issue up with Sebi; waiting on a response.)

Would it be possible to repost the link in the main message? The current one is being blocked by bitly for some reason.

Uuuugh. I opened a dispute with Bitly a while ago and apparently nothing ever came of it.

Alright, I just went ahead and edited the link to go directly to the page. I was only using Bitly to track page visits anyways, in order to measure interest and utilization. But that's not helpful if people can't even visit the page!!

1. At least some Oracle Text seems to be out of date. For instance, creatures with the type "Hound" have had errata to "Dog". IIRC, this happened back with Core 2021. I haven't researched any further, so unsure if there may be other discrepancies.

There are definitely many instances of inaccurate oracle text I've come across over time. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Sebi imports the oracle text for cards when he initially adds them to the database, and potentially not any time after that. (I'm not sure if he ever runs any sort of periodic process to mass-update all cards.) If my hunch is correct, then the oracle text displayed on Deckbox will be what was accurate at the time of the set's release (evident by the dog vs hound discrepancy). The exception to this would probably be reprints -- since all versions of a card share a card info page, a reprint may update outdated oracle text. But even that isn't 100% true. Take Lightning Bolt. It still has the M11-era wording (target creature or player), even though a more recent printing (Mystical Archives) has the updated wording (any target).

2. The OG dual lands have no Rules Text. So, if you were to search for Lands with Rules Text "{g} or {w}" to find lands for a Selesnya deck, Savannah will not show up in the results.

This is accurate. They do NOT have rules text, only reminder text, and should not be searchable with that criteria. You'll encounter the same "issue" on even an advanced search engine like Scryfall, as well as with any other land that has types, such as battle lands (Canopy Vista), cycling lands (Scattered Groves), and shock lands (Temple Garden). You just have to perform two searches -- one for rules text, one for land types. (Though on Scryfall, you can find them all in one search by using "t:land id=gw".)

I can definitely see the benefit of creating a filtered set of cards on DB, exporting that let to CSV, then using the CSV to input quantities before doing an "Add from CSV". I like the idea.

In the meantime, if your use case is simply getting such an exported CSV for a new set, there is a (fairly) simple solution. Note that this is Premium-only due to step 2.

1. From the Editions page, open the desired edition.

2. In the top-right, choose Mass Input, keep the default settings (1x to Inventory), and "Add Them".

3. Go to your inventory and filter for that edition only. Sort however you want.

4. Export your filtered / sorted inventory to CSV.

5. Use the top checkbox to mass-select all cards from that edition, then from the Card Actions dropdown, choose Remove Selected. You'll have to do this more than once until all pages of cards are removed.

6. Open the exported CSV and update quantities as needed, then use Add from CSV File to add to inventory.

Granted, this is a more convoluted approach than simply downloading an "edition CSV" from a given edition's page (which would replace step 2 and eliminate steps 3-5). And it won't work as easily if you already have cards from that set in your inventory (you'd have to replace step 5 with a different step). But it's still a heck of a lot faster than adding them one-by-one in the DB interface!

Hi @meldon44. Will you be adding 2022 standard challenger decks soon?

Oh dang! I didn't even know these released! Totally slipped past my radar -- I apologize. Thank you for pointing them out.

I can try to get them up tomorrow night.

Is this feature available to premium accounts now?

It isn't yet, sadly.

And imo, it shouldn't be hidden behind the Premium pay wall. Any item that can be added to an inventory should be available to add for all users -- that's a basic feature of inventory management. Now, what you can do with your inventory items AFTER you add them is what can made premium-only.

That specific token is in the database here: https://deckbox.org/mtg/Spirit%20%2F%2F … ting=62660

It just has the wrong artwork for the colorless spirit token face, but if you hover over the card note, you'll notice the correct collector number and set codes are listed.

I'd recommend opening a support ticket and/or posting it in the stickied "Missing cards" thread in the Site Discussion subforum.

Not to draw traffic away from Deckbox (because it truly is the best site overall), but TappedOut has this feature. I've never used it personally, so I can't vouch for how accurate it is, but you might try it out.

Alright, got a chance to check everything. First, I went through and compared the basic land artwork in the Deckbox editions for anthology vs OG. All artworks / collector numbers line up and go in the same order. Second, I compared the CSVs for Garruk v Liliana and Jace (unfortunately, Divine Demonic and Chandra all have equal 6/6/6/6 distributions, so they aren't helpful). The quantities matched between anthology and OG.

Based on this consistency, I'm going to go ahead and consider the Elves v Goblins CSV verified.... unless someone ever opens up this $200+ sealed product and can tell me otherwise!

RDPARTY wrote:

I still can't believe they managed to screw up Upgrades Unleashed so badly. That kind of screwup should be completely unthinkable.

100% agree that it's an absolutely egregious error. Sadly, though, considering their recent track record of quality control, I can totally believe it and these screwups no longer surprise me.

That does remind me, though, that I should probably add a little note to that CSV on the page. Thanks for pointing it out!

Solseek wrote:

I have the Anthology version of Elves vs. Goblins. Would reviewing that help in any way?

Maybe. I just can't remember whether or not the Anthology versions are exact 1-to-1 duplicates of the originals in the basic land distribution. If they are, then yes, I think we could state with very high confidence that the OG deck is verified if it matches the Anthology deck.

I'm at work and can't check till later. If you're able, compare the other three decks and let me know if they're identical in the basic lands.

Neon Dynasty Commander

VERIFIED CONTENT

Verified the following decks via unboxing videos:

  • Gleeful Flames (DKA event deck)

  • Deathfed + Hold the Line (ISD event decks)

  • Into the Breach (MBS event deck)

  • Duel Decks: Jace vs. Chandra

  • Deckmasters: Garfield vs. Finkel

  • Rakdos Raid (RTR intro pack)

Still can't find anything for the original duel deck, Elves vs Goblins, or a couple of the oldest event decks. Would love if someone who has those could verify their contents!

Shoe wrote:

Is it available on deckbox anywahere? I didnt see it as a plains OR battlefield forge

It is not yet, unfortunately. Secret Lair cards are usually a bit more delayed in being added than the main releases. I was just linking where people could find it on Scryfall.  smile

Unless there's some secret syntax I'm not aware of, this is unfortunately not possible on Deckbox at this time. Improved search has definitely been requested before.

Personally, I do all my searching on Scryfall. I compile a list of possible cards and compare it to my own cards on Deckbox. Then I go find them if I own them, or order them if I don't and I decide it's a very necessary card for my deck. This obviously isn't ideal, but I find it works for me.

Kayoscape wrote:

To be fair, it's not listed in Scryfall either (at least, not in such a way that I can find it).

Looks like it's only listed under Battlefield Forge. I don't see it as a Plains variant in Scryfall. Interesting.

I would like to mention that the Karplusan Forest has a lot of lacking meny printings. I think there has not been done an extended insertion of all the WCDs https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/World_Championship_Decks, Anyway I am asking you if you can check all the printings from here https://www.cardmarket.com/en/Magic/Car … t/Versions

I am also finding a problem selecting non foil lands from Modern Horizon 2. It seems you only have the chance to add Etched Foiled lands (haven't understood what actually means - they might be collector booster stuff) and foil lands from bundle box (and i can also add foiling in notes). I am assuming that something is missing, I was able to find foil lands in set/draft booster and bundle box either: but I do have many non foil lands from MH2.

You can just add them from the Modern Horizons 2 edition, and just don't set the foil flag. Ignore the note that mentions the bundle -- it's misleading!

This is 100% how I feel about it, too. I miss the days of a 249 card set with a handful of related promos. The only post-"booster fun" set I've tried to collect an entire playset of is Eldraine. And like you said..... oodles.

To the actual idea: I honestly think just more customizable collection goals in general would be awesome. Specify which sets (or portions of a set) you want 4x of or 1x of. Completely ignore entire editions. Etc.

I'm sure any implementation would be very complicated, so I'm not holding my breath on it being soon, but I think it's something that should be worked towards.

You might not be surprised to learn that this has been requested many times! I also want this filter.

The closest we've got is creating a Reserved List "deck", which can help out in some cases. You don't need to create one from scratch -- just copy psrex's deck (under Tools > Copy / Duplicate).

You can absolutely add foil versions of this card and the swamp mentioned above to your inventory.

If it's a regular foil, then simply set the foil flag (in the dropdown to the right of the condition and language dropdowns).

If it's the foil etched variant, then choose "Modern Horizons 2 Etched" as the edition name (and optionally set the foil flag if you're OCD like me, though doing so is unnecessary for accurate pricing).
